Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Barinder Kaur, the students and faculty members of the Commerce department of Mata Sundri University Girls College, Mansa, visited KRBL, Dhuri, for an Industrial visit. KRBL is a big rice processing unit with a 200-acre geographical area. The student learned a lot about the rice processing, packing, and its quality check machines available at KRBL. A total of 43 students and 4 faculty members of the commerce department visited KRBL.

A one-day Entrepreneurial Skill Development Workshop was organized by the Department of Commerce and Human Development under the leadership of Principal Dr. Barinder Kaur at Mata Sundari University, Girls college,Mansa. On this occasion, Dr. Kiran Bala ( Head of Department of Commerce ) welcomed the team that arrived for training.
During the workshop, she gave special information about managerial and marketing skills to the students. They taught the students how to prepare dry cake baking by giving information on various types of training to generate self employment. On this occasion Prof. Manreet Sidhu, Dr. Alka Dixit , Dr. Bharti Marwari, Prof. Diviani Singla, Prof. Anu Goyal, Prof. Daljit Kaur, Prof. Mandeep Kaur and about 150 female students were present .

Department of Commerce organized lecture on ' Financial Literacy and Awareness' dated 20.09.2024, to provide knowledge on cyber scams and job frauds to students of B.com and M.com of the college. ICICI Development Officer Neha Chaudhary delivered the lecture. Students discussed various queries. Section coordinator of Deptt. Of Commerce, Dr. Kiran Bala is thankful to Principal mam, Dr. Barinder Kaur for giving permission to organise such type of lectures.
