Department of CSE and IT in association with ICT Academy and IBM organised a training programme on "Cyber Security ".For final year CSE and IT students from 05/11/25 to 08/11/25.The trainers from ICT Academy effectively trained the students on technical skills according to the corporate needs. 65 Students from CSE and IT got benefitted from this training programme.The certificates were distributed by the Dr.M.Senthilmurugan,Director to the students along with Mr Rajiv Ghandhi, Relationship Manager, ICT Academy, Dr.P.Balasubramanian, Principal and Dr.S.Selvamuthukumaran, Vice Principal & ICT Academy Coordinator.

Mr.J. Jagadeeshwaran, IV year- Department of Electronics and Communication Engineeing, A.V. C College of Engineering, Mayiladuthurai,has won "Silver Medal" in TNSkills State Level competition 2025 and "Bronze Medal"in TNSkills National Level Competition under the title of " Heavy Vehicle Technology" Skill. He has also been awarded with the Appreciation Certificate and a Cash Prize of Rs.1,00,000/-. The *Department of Computer Science and Engineering* at *A.V.C. College of Engineering* successfully organized the *International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Explainable AI (ICICEA 2026) on 8th April 2026* . The event commenced with our respected *Director, Dr. M. Senthilmurugan* , officially released the conference proceedings, followed by an insightful presidential address from our *Principal, Dr. P. Balasubramanian* . The Guest of Honour, *Mr. Sethuraman Paramasivam* *(* *Director, Roboteon India Pvt. Ltd., Chennai)* , delivered a keynote sharing visionary perspectives on the future of Explainable AI (XAI). A total of *139 papers received from 41 engineering colleges,* the conference served as a high-level forum for researchers, academicians, and industry experts to discuss the evolution of transparent and interpretable AI systems. The meticulous organization of the event was led by Dr. S. Padmapriya (HoD-CSE), along with Conveners Dr. J. Sudha and Dr. R. Sudha, and Co-Convener Mr. A. Vivekanandhan and the entire CSE Faculty, students team.
