NGI 4th All India Captain Amit Verma Memorial:
Neelkanth Group of Institutions, Meerut inaugurated All India Captain Amit Verma Memorial Cricket Tournament 2023.Sixteen cricket teams are participating in the tournament. The matches of the tournament will be of 20-20 overs each.

NGI today at the cricket ground of Neelkanth Group of Institutions. The 4th All India Captain Amit Verma Memorial Cricket Tournament 2023 got off to a great start. The Chief Guest of the tournament was Prof. Dr. K., Vice Chancellor of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural University. Guest of Honor Neelkanth Group Chairman Brajveer Singh, Special Guest Captain Amit Verma's father Colonel Surendra Verma were welcomed by Neelkanth Group Secretary Amar Ahlawat, Group Advisor Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Director Neelkanth Institute of Technology Dr. Pankaj Choudhary by providing shawl, memento and bouquet On this occasion, Director Neelkanth Vidyapeeth Dr. Prashant Gaurav, Director Neelkanth College of Pharmacy Dr. Ratendra Kumar and Dean Academic Vishal Kohli were present. After that, all the guests announced the start of the tournament by lighting the lamp in front of the statue of Saraswati.

Addressing the players on this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) K. Of. Singh said that sports is a part of our life. For Indians it is like a religion. It teaches leadership. Participating in any competition is more important than winning and losing. This inspires us to move forward. Best wishes to all the teams participating in the tournament.

Chairman Brajveer Singh said that Captain Amit Verma, in whose name the cricket tournament is being held, was martyred in the Kargil War of 1999. It is the feeling of patriotism that inspires us to make sacrifices. It is the duty of all of us citizens to remember and respect the martyrdom of our brave soldiers. Be it a battlefield or a playground, every countryman feels proud when the country's tricolor is hoisted. Our college is always ready to promote sports and keeps organizing such events. Group Advisor Dr.D.C. Sharma said that there are also career possibilities in sports for the youth. There is a good opportunity for the youth in cricket but for this hard work and dedication is most important.

Event Coordinator Director Dr. Pankaj Chaudhary took all the guests to the field for the formal inauguration of the first match where the chief guest was Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) K. Of. Singh, Chairman Brajveer Singh got introduced to the players of both the teams. Toss of the first match was done by releasing the balloon in the air and tossing the coin. The first match was played by K.V. Originated between the Dogra school and the Swami Vivekananda school. KV Dogra School won the toss and decided to bat first and set a target of 135 runs for 6 wickets. In reply, Swami Vivekananda's team collapsed for 98 runs. Today's winning team is KV Dogra School.The empiring of the match by Sarjun and Sonu Pal, commentator Vishal, Scorer Rishu Singh. Conducted by Kritika and Dhairata.

A Workshop on the topic For School Education 2023 was organized at Neelkanth Group of Institutions, Meerut. In which Principals and Teachers of various reputed colleges of Meerut district were present.

The workshop was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Meerut Ms Nupur Goyal and Chairman Ngi Meerut Group Mr. Brajveer Singh lit the lamp in front of the statue of Saraswati. Neelkanth Group Secretary Mr Amar Ahlawat and Group Advisor Dr.Dinesh Sharma welcomed all the chief guests by presenting them with bouquets and mementos. On this occasion, Director Neelkanth Institute of Technology Dr. Pankaj Kumar, Director Neelkanth Vidyapeeth Dr. Prashant Gaurav, Director Neelkanth College of Pharmacy Dr. Ratendra Kumar, Dean Academic Vishal Kohli were present.

The first Chief Guest in the workshop, Nupur Goyal, said that in the coming times, many changes will be seen in schools and colleges regarding education. Better education will make all-round development of students possible. Attention has to be paid to quality education. Along with bookish studies, students will also have to work on their knowledge, skills and attitude. Attention will have to be paid to improving the level of teaching. Explaining the importance of education along with technology and creativity will also be a part of it.

Neelkanth Group Advisor Dr. D.C. Expressing his views, Sharma said that the National Policy has been divided into four phases. Which is a 5+3+3+4 pattern which includes 12 years of schooling and 3 years of pre-schooling. The New National Education Policy will have to be followed by both government and private institutions.

All the principals and teachers present in the workshop were honored by the chief guests with shawls, mementos and certificates.

The workshop included Government Inter College, Kuber Public School, Bharatiya Girls, S.S.D. Girls, Subhash Public School, Digambar Jain, Ram Sahay, Krishna Public, Jai Kisan Girls Inter College, Success International School, Adarsh Inter College, Kabul Girls Inter College, Rashtriya International College, Gyanodaya Inter College, Disha Inter College, Jain Inter College, Sitasaran Inter College, Jawahar Inter College,

A FRESHER'S WELCOME CEREMONY "SHUBHARAMBH"has been organised by the Neelkanth Group of Institutions, Meerut .
The Group Chairman Sh.Brijveer Singh and Group Advisor Dr Dinesh Sharma inaugurated the ceremony by lighting lamp, students performed Saraswati Vandana, Dr Ratendra Kumar ( Director of Pharmacy),Dr Pankaj Kumar (Director of NIT) and Vishal Kohli (Dean Academic) were welcomed by Dr Prashant Gaurav (Directorof NVP).Group Chairman showers his motivational words upon the students and told them that the NGI Group always make efforts to provide the best academic and safe environment to the students.
Punjabi dance, group,solo dance and Ramp Walk were performed by the students.Mantasha and Mansi were the host of the program.Shanu and Mansi from BCA,Yash and Deepanshi from BSC(CS),Vinay and Ananya from B.A.B.Ed. selected as MR. and MISS Fresher. Mrs.Usha Sharma (HOD of B.Ed.),Dr Bhawana Saxena (HOD B.A.B.Ed.), Coordinators Mr. Naseem Mirza, Sarika Chauhan ,Neha Sharma,Vipin Sharma,Rekha Chaudhary, Minaxi Raman,Ayushi, Vivek kumar,Pallavi,Kamal,Negpal, Ankit were present there.
