स्वामी विवेकानंद सुभारती विश्वविद्यालय मेरठ के एनएसएस इकाई-3 के स्वयंसेवकों ने सोमवार 10 फरवरी 2025 को प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी जी के "परीक्षा पे चर्चा-2025" कार्यक्रम के 8वें संस्करण का सजीव प्रसारण देखा। पत्रकारिता और जनसंचार विभाग के सेमिनार हॉल में इसका सजीव प्रसारण देखने के लिए व्यवस्था की गई थी। एक घंटे के इस कार्यक्रम को सभी स्वयंसवेकों ने दत्तचित्त भाव से देखा। प्रधानमंत्री जी को छात्र-छात्राओं के साथ घुल-मिलकर उनके प्रश्नों के निराकरण के तरीका विशेष प्रभावी रहा।

सुभारती एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों से मिले उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस के महानिदेशक: वरिष्ठपुलिस अधिकारी ने सराहा छात्र-पुलिस अनुभवात्मक अधिगम कार्यक्रम के प्रति छात्रों की अभिरुचि*।

उत्तर प्रदेश के पुलिस महानिदेशक (रूल्स एंड मैनुअल्स) श्री आशीष गुप्ता ने मेरठ दौरे के अवसर पर पुलिस लाइन्स, मेरठ में "छात्र-पुलिस अनुभवात्मक अधिगम'(SPEL), द्वितीय चरण की समीक्षा बैठक की। इसमें मेरठ जनपद के अनेक वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारी और स्वामी विवेकानंद सुभारती विश्वविद्यालय, मेरठ के एनएसएस पदाधिकारी और एनएसएस स्वयंसेवक सम्मिलित हुए। स्पेल योजना के द्वितीय चरण में सुभारती विश्वविद्यालय के 47 एनएसएस स्वयंसेवक मेरठ के चार थानों- जानी, कंकरखेड़ा परतापुर और टीपी नगर में अनुभवात्मक प्रशिक्षण पा रहे हैं।

यह पहला मौका था जब प्रदेश पुलिस के सीनियर अधिकारी इस कार्यक्रम की समीक्षा के लिए मेरठ पहुंचे। छात्र-पुलिस अनुभवात्मक अधिगम(स्पेल) केंद्र सरकार के दिशा-निर्देशों के तहत प्रत्येक राज्य के पुलिस प्रशासन द्वारा एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों के लिए संचालित की जाती है, जिसके अंतर्गत छात्र एक माह तक पुलिस थाने में 4 घंटे का व्यावहारिक और अनुभवात्मक प्रशिक्षण लेते हैं। यह योजना केंद्र द्वारा 2023 से लागू की गई है और वर्तमान में इसका दूसरा चरण चालू है, जिसके अन्तर्गत देशभर के छात्र पुलिस और अन्य विभागों में एक माह का प्रशिक्षण लेते हैं ताकि पढ़ाई के दौरान उनका कौशल विकास भी साथ-साथ हो सके।

इस अवसर पर आशीष गुप्ता महानिदेशक(रूल्स एंड मैनुअल्स), उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस, लखनऊ ने मेरठ जिले में चल रहे स्पेल कार्यक्रम की समीक्षा पुलिस लाइंस के सभागार में की और प्रशिक्षण रत एनएसएस के स्वयंसेवकों से इस कार्यक्रम की फीडबैक ली। उन्होंने छात्रों से कहा कि पढ़ाई के दौरान इसप्रकार का प्रशिक्षण लेना उनके आंतरिक कौशल को बढ़ाएगा। साथ ही, छात्रों को पुलिस विभाग की कार्य प्रणाली का विस्तार से अनुभव हो सकेगा। उन्होंने सभी पुलिस अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि छात्र-पुलिस अनुभवात्मक अधिगम कार्यक्रम का संचालन प्रभावी ढंग से किया जाए जिससे छात्रों को पुलिसिंग का व्यवहारिक ज्ञान हो सके। इस दौरान छात्र-छात्र महानिदेशक पुलिस से मिलकर बहुत खुश हुए और उन्होंने इस प्रशिक्षण की खूबियां गिनाई और बताया कि इस प्रैक्टिकल कार्य से उन्हें बहुत अनुभव प्राप्त हुआ।

एनएसएस के स्वयंसेवको का कहना था कि ऐसे आयोजनों से पुलिस के अच्छे कार्यों को समाज में प्रसारित करने में मदद मिलेगी।जिससे पुलिस की अच्छी छवि का विस्तार होगा।

इस अवसर पर पुलिस महानिदेशक, नियम एवं ग्रंथ उ0प्र0 ने भारत सरकार द्वारा संचालित Student Police Experiential Learning (SPEL) के द्वितीय चरण कार्यक्रम की प्रगति के सम्बन्ध में जनपदीय अधिकारियों के साथ समीक्षा कर संतोष जताया। गोष्ठी पुलिस लाइन स्थित सभागार में आयोजित की गई। इस गोष्ठी में मेरठ पुलिस के वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारी सहित अन्य अधिकारीगण और एनएसएस सुभारती के नामित नोडल अधिकारी डॉ. विशाल कुमार और मेरठ जिलेके विभिन्न थानों पर प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर रहे छात्र/छात्राओं द्वारा प्रतिभाग किया गया।

Empowering Youth for Road Safety. Volunteer Kritika Ahuja, a student of BNYS 3rd Year and fellow students from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, , are gaining hands-on experience with the Traffic Police as part of their Road Safety Awareness Training.

Organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra ( ), Meerut, this initiative is part of the National Road Safety Month ( ), aiming to educate and engage youth in promoting road safety awareness.

A high-level review meeting was convened by SP Traffic Meerut and the District Nodal Officer of SPEL, Raghvendra Kumar Mishra, at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Meerut, to discuss the Student-Police Experiential Learning (SPEL) programme. The meeting, held on January 19th, 2025, was attended by officials from the National Service Scheme (NSS), SPEL volunteers and Police officials of the all four police stations where SPEL training going on..

During the meeting, Mr. Mishra emphasized the effective implementation of SPEL, aiming to provide NSS volunteers with a deeper understanding of policing and its responsibilities. Currently, 47 NSS volunteers are undergoing SPEL training at various police stations in Meerut, including Jani, Kankar Kheda, TP Nagar, and Partapur.

The volunteers shared their experiences and insights gaining during the training, highlighting the programme's impact. The SP instructed concerned police officers to prioritize student satisfaction and ensure the training meets their needs.

The SPEL program is a valuable initiative, fostering collaboration between students, police, and the community to promote road safety awareness and responsible policing practices.

During the occasion NSS Coordinator of SVSU Prof.(Dr)S.C. Thaledi, NSS SPEL nodal officer Dr Vishal Kumar, Programme officer, NSS, Ram Prakash Tiwari and all concerned Police officers were present.

The NSS Cell of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut, collaborated with the Traffic Police, Meerut, to organize a workshop on Road Safety Awareness during the National Road Safety Month (NSRM). The event featured Mr. Raghvendra Kumar Mishra, SP Traffic, as the chief guest, who emphasized the importance of youth awareness in mitigating road accidents.

Mr. Mishra stressed the need for traffic rules while driving any vehicle. This workshop is part of a broader effort to promote road safety awareness among students and the community.

The workshop aimed to educate NSS volunteers, other students and the community about road safety and promote responsible behavior on the roads.

A Road Safety Pledge was administered by the Traffic Police to promote a commitment to road safety among participants.

Similar initiatives have been organized by the University in the past, including a workshop on Road Safety Awareness under Road Safety Fortnight.
