Organized by the Department of Microbiology, School of Life Science and Technology, IIMT University, Meerut, in association with the Microbiologists Society, India (MBSI), the event highlighted the fascinating world of microorganisms and their important contributions to human health, agriculture, food, biotechnology and environmental sustainability.

The expert lecture, “Innovation for Sustainable Farming: Microbial Biofertilizers & Biopesticides – Harnessing Microbes for a Greener, Healthier Tomorrow,” was delivered by Dr. Bishal Kumar Mishra, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Agronomy.

The celebration provided students with an opportunity to explore microbiology beyond the classroom, while developing scientific curiosity, creativity, teamwork, communication skills and an understanding of real-world applications of microorganisms. 🌍🔬
