Indian Centre for Manufacturing Excellence (ICME) was started to build Manufacturing Competitiveness of Indian Industries by improving quality, cost and delivery to end customers via creating a Responsive Productiona System using Lean Tools with an approach of Total Employee Involvement.

ICME helps the organization to identify key challenges and help them become competitive. Reducing cost by establishing flow, quality systems, health of machines and improving productivity on the shop floor are key parts of the Centre’s manufacturing excellence programme. This would happen through integration of tools & techniques.
