Rayat Bahra University successfully conducted a five-day hybrid Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 13th to 17th August 2026 on “AI in Documentation: Transforming Teaching, Research and Academic Productivity.”

Organized by the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, USET and University School of Polytechnic, in collaboration with C-DAC Mohali under the Electronics & ICT Academy and sponsored by MeitY, Government of India, the FDP focused on the practical use of AI in teaching, research, documentation and academic productivity.

The programme featured expert sessions on Generative AI, prompt engineering, AI-enabled teaching and research, publication strategies, citation management, research visibility, interactive classroom tools and project proposal development.

The valedictory ceremony was graced by Mrs. Jessica Bahra, Vice President, Rayat Bahra University, as Chief Guest. Dr. Balwinder Singh, Joint Director, C-DAC Mohali, and Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar, Vice Chancellor, RBU, also addressed the participants.

The programme concluded with certificate distribution, empowering faculty members with contemporary AI skills for smarter teaching, stronger research and enhanced academic productivity.
