The Apex Institute of Technology–CSE (AIT-CSE), Chandigarh University successfully organised an Industrial Visit on 24 September 2026 to Meander Software Pvt. Ltd., Mohali, providing students with valuable exposure to the professional IT ecosystem.

👨‍💻 60 students from AI & Machine Learning (AI/ML) and Computer Science & Business Systems (CSBS) participated and gained practical insights into emerging technologies and industry practices.

We were delighted to organize an insightful Professor of Practice (PoP) Session on “Identity and Access Management” on 17 September 2026 for the students of the Department of AIT–CSE, Chandigarh University.
The session was conducted by Mr. Bhushan Chavan, Director–Technical Architect, MGM Resorts International, Celina, Texas, USA. Drawing upon his extensive industry experience, he explained how modern organizations manage digital identities, secure access, and protect critical information systems.
The session provided valuable insights into:

🔐 Guest Lecture on Adversarial Attacks in Cyber-Physical Systems | CPSET – Cisco Lab (AIT CSE)

On 16th September, 2026, the Centre for Privacy and Security in Emerging Technologies (CPSET), under the Cisco Lab, had the privilege of hosting Dr. Munish Pal, HoD, NIT Delhi, for an insightful guest lecture on “Adversarial Attacks in Cyber-Physical Systems.”

The session offered our students valuable insights into emerging adversarial threats, vulnerabilities, and security challenges associated with modern Cyber-Physical Systems, while encouraging them to explore contemporary research and real-world cybersecurity challenges.

The lecture was organised under the coordination of Dr. Ankit Kumar Dubey, Coordinator – Industry Relations, whose efforts played an important role in facilitating this academic interaction.

On the occasion of Engineer's Day, Cloud Stack Club, AIT-CSE, CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY, successfully organized the AWS Academy Certification Program Orientation on 15 September 2026, introducing students to the opportunities offered through the AWS Academy Certificate Program and preparing them for AWS Global Certifications.

The session highlighted the significance of Industry-recognized cloud certifications in building technical expertise and enhancing career opportunities. Students were introduced to the AWS Academy ecosystem, the benefits of FREE enrollment in AWS Skill Builder, and the learning pathways leading to globally recognized AWS certifications.

AIT–CSE, Chandigarh University, in collaboration with LatentView Analytics, successfully organised a two-day T3 (Train-the-Trainer) Programme cm Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Data Engineering on 12–13 September 2026.
The programme provided an excellent platform for faculty members to deepen their understanding of Data Engineering, industry practices, emerging technologies, and real-world applications, while exploring ways to integrate industry perspectives into classroom teaching, hands-on learning, and student projects.
