The Zero Plastic Campaign, organized by TMU College of Engineering as part of the Bharat Environment Program and World Earth Week 2026 (22–29 April), was successfully conducted on 25 April 2026.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, TMU College of Engineering, organized a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Autodesk Fusion: From Design to Manufacturing.” The program provided a comprehensive platform for participants to understand the complete product development cycle—from conceptual design to manufacturing—using Autodesk Fusion.

The FDP featured expert sessions by Dr. Nisha Singh and Er. Debadatta Panigarhi, who shared valuable industry-oriented insights and hands-on training, making the sessions highly informative and engaging. The program was conducted in collaboration with Twintech Engineering & Design Technology Pvt. Ltd., an Autodesk Authorized Academic Partner, whose support contributed significantly to the success of the FDP.

The event was organized under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Dwivedi, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, whose visionary leadership encouraged industry-oriented learning initiatives. The department also extends sincere thanks to Dr. Himansh Kumar, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, for his continuous support and coordination in the successful ex*****on of the program.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, TMU College of Engineering, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, successfully organized a five-day International Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Building Research Competence: A 5-Day Journey from Manuscript to Mindset.” The program received an overwhelming response with 160 registrations, including 70 faculty members, 84 research scholars and research enthusiasts, and 6 industry professionals. Participants joined from 10 different states of India and 6 countries, making the FDP a truly diverse and international academic platform.

Over the course of five enriching days, the FDP featured insightful sessions by distinguished international experts. Dr. Govind Vashishtha (Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland) delivered an engaging session on research ethics and integrity, while Mert (Matt) Sehri (University of Ottawa, Canada) guided participants on crafting impactful research articles. Dr. Sandeep Singh Sengar (Cardiff Metropolitan University, United Kingdom) demonstrated the effective use of AI tools to enhance research productivity, and Dr. Ashish Dixit (Lincoln University College, Malaysia) provided valuable insights on journal selection and publication strategies. The FDP concluded with Dr. Tanvir Mahmoud Hussein (Gulf University, Bahrain), who emphasized the importance of developing a consistent and impactful research mindset.

The FDP was organized under the guidance of Prof. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi, Dean, Faculty of Engineering. The program was successfully convened by Dr. Alka Verma, Associate Professor & HoD, ECE, and Dr. Vibhor Kumar Bhardwaj, Assistant Professor, ECE, whose dedication and coordination ensured the smooth ex*****on of the event.
