was celebrated on 22nd April at Dasmesh Girls College, Mukerian with great enthusiasm and awareness. The main objective of the celebration was to promote environmental consciousness among students and encourage them to take responsibility for protecting nature.

The program began with a pledge-taking ceremony, where students and faculty members pledged to conserve natural resources, reduce pollution, and work towards a greener and healthier planet.

To engage students creatively, a poster-making competition was organized. Participants showcased their artistic skills and conveyed powerful messages on environmental protection, climate change, and sustainability through their posters.

In addition, a quiz competition was conducted to enhance students’ knowledge about environmental issues, biodiversity, and conservation practices. The quiz generated great interest and active participation among students.

Overall, the celebration was informative and inspiring. It successfully spread awareness about the importance of protecting our environment and motivated students to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.

On April 22, 2026, the 2024-27 batch organized a grand and heartwarming farewell ceremony for the graduating seniors of the 2023-26 batch. The event was thoughtfully planned, starting with a unique invitation card signed by Principal , ANO , the teaching staff, and the younger cadets. The celebration officially commenced with a cake-cutting ceremony by the Chairman, , whose blessings and words of wisdom inspired everyone present.
Chairman Sir highly commended the ANO for her exceptional leadership and praised the cadets for their hard work and commitment. He specifically highlighted the importance of maintaining discipline as they move forward in life. The younger cadets added life to the party with a vibrant cultural program, featuring engaging games, soulful songs, and emotional poetry dedicated to their seniors.
During the ceremony, both the Principal and the Chairman expressed their appreciation for for her tireless dedication to the NCC unit. The senior cadets also took a moment to share their heartfelt gratitude, thanking the ANO for the immense love, constant support, and invaluable guidance she provided over the last three years. After a session of refreshments, the younger cadets presented group photographs to the seniors as a token of remembrance. In a beautiful final gesture of respect, the senior batch collectively presented the ANO with a collage photo frame and a Dastaar, celebrating a legacy of mutual respect and bonds that will be cherished forever.

The of Dasmesh Girls College, Chak Allah Baksh , Mukerian organized a heartfelt for the outgoing batch at multipurpose hall. The event was a perfect blend of celebration and emotion, as faculty members and students gathered to bid a warm farewell to the graduating class.
The program commenced with a gracious welcome by the hosts, who greeted the respected Principal, faculty members, and students. This was followed by an inspiring address by the Principal, * who congratulated the outgoing students on their achievements and encouraged them to pursue excellence in their future endeavors.The Head of the Department* addressed the gathering, appreciating the academic achievements, dedication, and contributions of the outgoing students. Musical Achievement – Pride of Our College
, a talented student of Dasmesh Girls College, Chak Alla Baksh, Mukerian, has brought great pride to our institution by her brilliant performance in “Khitab-e-Swar Season 1.”
She successfully cleared the audition round held in Talwara. In the second round at Dasmesh Girls College, Mukerian, she performed both old and new songs, secured a place in the Top 25, and advanced to the Top 10.
In the third round at Harishah Ji Ki Gaddi, Ambota, she impressed everyone with her classical and devotional performances and achieved 2nd position among the Top 10 contestants.
The grand finale was held at Lata Mangeshkar Hall, Una, where she delivered a powerful performance with both soft and energetic songs, winning the hearts of the audience and the judges.
This remarkable achievement is a matter of great pride for our college and an inspiration for other students. We extend our heartfelt best wishes to her for a bright and successful future.

The NCC unit of Dasmesh Girls College, Mukerian, under the guidance of Principal and our ANO , achieved remarkable success at the NCC Camp held at NCC Academy, Ropar, where 30 cadets from our college participated with great dedication. A major highlight was the leadership , who led the Bravo Company with great efficiency and managed all responsibilities excellently. Our cadets dominated the competitive field by winning almost all the games, including the Tug of War and Tent Pitching championships, while also excelling in Shooting, Debate, and Kho-Kho. During the camp, the cadets gained intensive knowledge in subjects like Map Reading, Weapon Training, Leadership, Communication, and Drone technology. Furthermore, our students were selected for the prestigious Guard of Honour and earned widespread acclaim for their cultural representation of Gatka, showcasing Punjab’s rich heritage. This camp was a true testament to the discipline and excellence of our 30 participating cadets.

The Fashion Designing Department of Dasmesh Girls College, Chak Alla Baksh, Mukerian organized a vibrant and successful Fashion Show, showcasing creativity, culture, and talent of students through various thematic rounds. The event was graced by esteemed Chief guests cm Judges including , Owner of Orane International School of Hair, Makeup & Nutrition, Talwara and , Mukerian; , Math Mistress, Govt. Senior Secondary School, Nagal Bihalan; , Principal, Govt. Senior Secondary School, Harse Mansar; and , Principal, Govt. Senior Secondary School, Beh Lakhann. The competition featured multiple rounds with enthusiastic participation, where in the State Round Punjab secured first position, followed by Rajasthan and Nagaland, while Jammu & Kashmir received consolation. In the Collection Round, secured first position, second, and third. In Traditional Saree , stood first and second, while in the Designer Suit Round again secured first position followed by . In the Retro Round, secured first position and second. In the Banaras Round, secured first position, second, third, and Dikhsa received consolation. In the Dance Round, (Odissi) secured first position, (Lavani) second, and (Kathakali) third. In the Khadi Round, secured first position, second, third, and received consolation. In the Best Model category, secured first position, second, third, and received consolation. The event successfully celebrated Indian culture, traditional craftsmanship, and modern fashion trends, with participants impressing the judges through their confidence, creativity, and presentation skills. Dasmesh Girls College students of B.Sc. (Fashion Designing) have brought laurels to the institution by securing positions in the university merit list. Under the successful leadership of Principal and the guidance of the Head of the Fashion Designing Department, Professor , the students once again achieved outstanding results through their hard work and dedication.

, a student of B.Sc. Fashion Designing (3rd Semester), secured 2nd position in the university with 90% marks, while secured the 4th position with 87.50% marks, thereby bringing pride and glory to the college.

On this remarkable achievement, the Chairman of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Educational Charitable Trust, , along with all the trust members, expressed their happiness and congratulated the students and their parents. They also extended their best wishes for the students’ bright future.
