Sustainable Solutions for Climate Change & Clean Energy

The Department of Civil Engineering, M.M. Engineering College (MMEC), MMDU, Mullana successfully organised a two-day AICTE VAANI-sponsored seminar on “Sustainable Solutions for Climate Change and Clean Energy” on 18–19 September 2026.

The seminar brought together 81 participants from across the country, including faculty members, students, researchers and professionals, to explore renewable energy, energy efficiency, climate action, sustainable infrastructure, waste management and environmental management.

Eminent experts from academia and industry shared valuable insights on emerging technologies, sustainable practices and the role of engineers in addressing climate challenges.

The interactive sessions encouraged knowledge sharing, practical discussions and collaborative thinking towards building a more sustainable future.

M.M. Institute of Computer Technology & Business Management (MMICT&BM), Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana successfully organised TECHNOVA-2026, a technical hackathon on 18 September 2026.

The event brought together 50 enthusiastic teams, giving students a platform to showcase their technical skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities through technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges.

Projects were evaluated on key parameters including Presentation, Novelty, Scalability, Feasibility, Relevance and Impact, encouraging participants to develop practical and meaningful solutions.

The event concluded with the felicitation of the winning teams, recognising their dedication, teamwork and outstanding efforts.
