Our Diploma and Degree student visited to Hariom foods International at Rabale Dist Thane on 11/07/2025.
The purpose of this visit was to enhance students understanding of practical applications in the field food technology and gain valuable insights into industry practices. Representative from industry Mrs. Ayushi Naik & her team such a wonderful guides and They explained their factory very well, including the Production department, Packing department, Quality control lab, packaging machine, storage and dispatch departments.
Students have understood the importance of marketing strategies in the food industry , a broader perspective on the role of technology in driving business success.

Tata Department of Food Technology organised a Seminar on fusion food
" *Foodies Junction"- An Amalgamation Flavours-Fusions And Food Styling All In One* by *Dr. Chef Kaviraj Khialani* on 1 March 2025 .
The session was attended by First and second year students of Diploma in Food Technology and BVoc of Food Processing Technology.
Chef Kaviraj is a celebrity Master Chef, Hospitality and education expert, writer and author of half a dozen books.
The session was knowledgeable and enjoyable.
He explained the concept of fusion food and different ways of creative and thoughtful combinations of food to prepare fusion food .

It was a great opportunity for our students to listen expert from hospitality industry. The session was insightful and interactive.

The student of Diploma in Food Technology Samruddhi Maind , Palak Mistry, Vedshree Keskar.They worked on optimising, Minimizing absorption and oxidation for dough based products.
