The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) recently published and made the Companies (CSR Policy) Amendment Rules, 2020 available for public feedback. Towards this, the TISS LTD (Learning, Training and Development) Practice is hosting an online discussion with senior sectoral experts on Wednesday, 8th March 2020.

Since the proposed amendments have serious implications for civil society organisations and for corporate compliance alike, we have constituted a small working group of sectoral experts to deliberate and share their views on several aspects related to the existing CSR law, and opportunities and implications of the proposed amendments. Through this discussion, we hope to understand multi stakeholder perspectives, as part of knowledge creation and dissemination. Post the discussion, we propose to compile the points discussed and submit our recommendations to the MCA for their consideration.
