📚 Turning Research Ideas into Fundable Proposals!

Sasmira’s Institute of Management Studies & Research (SIMSR) successfully conducted a National Workshop on “From Research Idea to Fundable Proposal” on 8th September 2026, in Hybrid Mode.

The workshop was led by Dr. Chandrahauns R. Chavan, Senior Professor & Former Director, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), who shared valuable insights into transforming research ideas into structured and impactful research proposals.

The session focused on key aspects of research methodology, identifying research problems, framing research questions, developing research objectives and hypotheses, and strengthening research proposals for funding opportunities. The interactive discussions enabled participants to gain practical perspectives on approaching research with greater clarity, relevance, and academic rigour.

The workshop reflected SIMSR’s continued commitment to fostering a strong research culture, academic excellence, and knowledge-driven learning among the academic community.
