Scott John Morrison is the current Prime Minister of Australia.
During his time as Immigration Minister, Morrison's dealings with the media and accountability to the public were widely criticised by journalists, Labor and Greens senators, and others for refusing to provide details about the matters within his portfolio. Morrison was an opponent of legalising same-sex marriage. Morrison is economically liberal and socially conservative. He's seen as the proverbial "family man" who understands Australia's suburban conservative values and now closely connected to the Pentecostal movement.

On Thursday, 14th of February 2019, Pulwama, a town in the state of Jammu and Kashmir witnessed what was one the of deadliest terror attacks when a su***de bomber rammed a vehicle carrying 350 kg of explosives into a CRPF bus.
This attacked claimed the lives of 44 jawans and has left many injured.
The bus was a part of a convoy of 78 buses, carrying 2500 Central Reserve Police Force personnel who were rejoining after returning from their leave.
The Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed terror group has claimed responsibility for the attack that took place about 20 km from Srinagar.
This is an example of humanity at its worst; a disgusting , inhumane act that has left the country and especially, the state of Jammu and Kashmir shaken to it's core.
This attack has been condemned internationally, with countries near and far standing in solidarity with India and it's defence force.
We pray for the brave hearts that lost their lives in this terrible and heartbreaking incident, and for their families who have to bear the sorrow forever.
We stand in solidarity with the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir, who have been subject to violence and loss and devastation for far too long.

Nicolás Maduro Moros is the 63rd President of Venezuela, having taken over the office since 2013. Since then, he has proved to be a highly controversial world leader- as far as to being questionned whether he should be dubbed a dictator or a defender of socialism?
In the agenda proposed during his 2013 Presidential Campaign, Maduro pledged to complete the socialist transformation of Venezuela begun by his predecessor, Chavez- to increase gun control in the country's impoverished areas, and to increase the nation's minimum wage by 30 to 40 percent. Truly so, ever since he assumed presidency, he has continued the policies of Hugo Chávez.
But his rule has also been ardently criticized by the mainstream media, and has also leading to nationwide protests right after the elections, which further led to riots. He has been accused of being an authoritarian and a dictator by the national media. He has had some daunting experiences too, having survived an Assassination attempt in 2018.
He has been criticized for ruling by decree, which has led to a severe declination of Venezuela’s socio-economic status, along with increase in crime, inflation, poverty and hunger. The most clear example might be his horribly failed attempt at Demonetization in December 2016, which ultimately resulted in the inflation rates touching almost 475% that rate.
Despite all such incidents, Maduro has continued as the President, even though his popularity has been affected hugely.

Same-sex marriage in the United States expanded from one state in 2004 to all fifty states in 2015 through various state court rulings, state legislation, direct popular votes, and federal court rulings. This revolutionary judgement was passed when President Barack Obama was in power. Barack Hussein Obama II, born August 4, 1961) is an American attorney and politician who served as the 44th president of the Untied States from 2009 to 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, he was the first African American to be elected to the presidency. He previously served as a senator from Illinois from 2005 to 2008. After graduating, he became a civil rights attorney and an academic, teaching constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. He represented the 13th district for 3 terms in the Illinois State from 1997 to 2004, when he ran for the U.S. Senate. He received national attention in 2004 with his March primary win, his well-received July Democratic National Convention keynote address, and his landslide November election to the Senate. In 2008, he was nominated for president a year after his campaign began and after a close primary campaign against Hillary Clinton. He was elected over Republican John McCain and was inaugurated on January 20, 2009. Nine months later, he was named the 2009 Noble Peace laureate.

Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa is a South African politician and the fifth and current President of South Africa. He became President following the resignation of Jacob Zuma. Previously an anti-apartheid activist, trade union leader, and businessman, Ramaphosa served as the Deputy President of South Africa from 2014 to 2018.
Ramaphosa is well known as a businessman, and his estimated net worth is over R6.4 billion ($550 million) as of 2018. Despite his credentials as an important proponent of his country's peaceful transition to democracy, he has also been criticised for the conduct of his business interests. Since Ramaphosa became president he has made land reform and the economy his main priorities, as well as dealing with the outbreak of listeriosis which has claimed the lives of over 100 since the start of 2018.Ramaphosa launched the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative as a means to employ one million youth and giving them more experience in the working field. Ramaphosa publicly declared in South Africa on 24 May 2018 that he would be donating half of his salary (R3.6 million annually) to charity in honour of late former South African president Nelson Mandela. He has been very vocal in his fight against apartheid.

Today, 26th January marks our 70th Republic Day, the day on which our constitution was brought into effect. Our Constitution of India, which holds the record of being the longest written constitution of any country in the world, was drafted by the Drafting Committee under Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. Dr. Ambedkar was a constitutional expert who studied the constitutions of about 60 countries while drafting India's own.
But, despite all of the committee's studies and vision, our constitution has been far from perfect. It has gone through multiple adjustments and changes, better known as the Amendments, to fit the changing times and ideologies.
These amendments have enabled us and empowered us in ways to fit the vision of changing tomorrow- from judicial review, union territories being recognised, free and mandatory education, panchayats, reservations and most recently, the GST Bill. The amendments also included the 42nd Amendment, considered as the 'Mini Constitution', which gave us our beloved Fundamental Rights, DPSP and Administrative Tribunals!

In a shocking move, the Supreme Court of the United States of America passed a ruling that gave the go ahead to the ban on transgender people serving in the military implemented by President Donald Trump Jr.
This is a major setback for the LGBTQ community of USA as well as the country in general. A highly regressive step, it further strengthens the transphobia prevalent in society. However, this is not uncharacteristic of Trump, who has been implementing appallingly inhumane policies for a major part of this term and has enforced the longest government shut down yet, which is beginning to have a severe impact on the American citizens and could lead the country into a major economic crisis.

Jair Messias Bolsonaro is a Brazilian politician and retired military officer, currently serving as the 38th President of Brazil since January 2019. He served in the country's Chamber of Deputies, representing the state of Rio de Janeiro, between 1991 and 2018. Since 2018, he is a member of the conservative Social Liberal Party.
He served in the 9th Field Artillery Group, in the 21st Field Artillery Group and in the 8th Paratrooper Field Artillery Group.
Bolsonaro's political views have been described as nationalist and populist in nature, and himself as an advocate of far-right policies. His supporters, however, claim that his views are more aligned with traditional right-wing conservatism. Bolsonaro is viewed as a pro-life, anti-establishment and pro-gun politician, voicing opposition to most forms of gun control legislation, arguing that law abiding citizens have the right to self-defense, especially those living in rural areas. Jair Bolsonaro is known for his strong opposition to left-wing policies. Most notably, he has been a vocal opponent of same-sex marriage, environmental regulations, abortion, affirmative action (particularly racial quotas), immigration (particularly from Haiti, Africa and the Middle East, which he once called "the scum of humanity"), drug liberalization, land reforms, and secularism at the state level, among other things.

Vladimir Putin is the Russian President and a former intelligence officer serving at the office since 2012. We have to hand it to president Putin though: he has managed to stay in power in Russia since 1999, and has done so ostensibly within the purview of the law. Having first served a short term as Prime Minister, starting in 2000, he served two terms as president then stepping aside as his handpicked successor served while Putin occupied the PM spot yet again.
Putin’s first year back in office as president was characterized by a largely successful effort to stifle the protest movement with ppposition leaders being jailed, and NGOs that received funding from abroad being labeled as “foreign agents.” Putin craftily reduced the power of a number of media tycoons by closing several media outlets and proceeding criminal charges against several leading figures. Media has always been on a short lease under Putin's rule.
Tensions between US and Russia had always been high throughout his Presidency, with his decision to put a ban on the U.S. adoption of Russian children or making it illegal for gay couples to adopt in Russia, which led to international protest. These further flared up when Russia offered asylum to Edward Snowden. Not to forget, the chemical weapons situation in Syria when the Russian and U.S. governments brokered a deal whereby those weapons would be destroyed.
Putin has been pro-active with his use of the military strength too. In 2014, Putin sent Russian troops to effectively take control of Crimea. Similarly, he surprised many by announcing airstrikes on Syria, though Russia's main motive was still unclear.
Putin had criticized Obama, asserting that US interventions had backfired in the Middle East, having created a haven for extremists and terrorists.
But remarkably, Putin was also one of the earliest figures, inside or outside the US, to throw express support for Trump. Why wouldn't he? Afterall, a Trump presidency would likely be beneficial for Russia — the billionaire has espoused an isolationist foreign policy, criticized NATO, and expressed personal admiration for Putin.
