Every year for Dahi Handi, the Pearl Academy, Mumbai Fashion Communication students, along with their faculty, capture the essence of the festival at Chabildas Lane, opposite Ideal Book Depot, Dadar West. The annual photowalk allows students to explore street photography and portraiture while capturing the energy, spirit, and vibrant cultural traditions of the festival. Through this immersive experience, students learn to work with natural light, navigate large crowds, and develop their storytelling and observational skills. A fun and engaging photography exercise, the photowalk challenges students to capture authentic emotions and create compelling narratives that reflect the spirit of Mumbai’s festive culture.

The Department of Fashion Communication, Pearl Academy Mumbai, welcomed Gen-Z sensation for an exclusive masterclass packed with candid industry insights, creative hacks, and tips to discover and own your USP.

From a full-house session to an engaging, specially curated workshop, our students explored the art of building their own voice, sparking meaningful conversations and leaving with fresh ideas to take their creator journeys forward!

It was an honor hosting Vrunda Pathare - Head, Godrej Archives, she spent the day with our Interior Design students - unpacking how archives shape design thinking, not just preserve it.🗃️✨

The session was followed by a student-led podcast, with our students curating and asking the questions themselves. 🎙️👥
