For Ashika Kothari (Global MBA February 2025), the answer lies in preparation, practice, and making the most of the support available at SP Jain Global.

Nitya Gutta’s (BBA ’24) most valuable learning did not begin at her internship. It began in her classroom.

As an HR Research Analyst Intern at Zolon Tech in Hyderabad, Nitya firmly believes the most valuable lessons in business are learnt when you can connect what you study in class with real-world business settings.

Her BBA curriculum allowed her to do just that while applying her learnings at the intersections of business research, HR, data management, technology and international business.

The GCGM Orientation Day for SP Jain Global’s October 2026 intake brought together aspiring global managers for a day of insights, introductions, and connections.

A warm welcome to our incoming Graduate Certificate of Global Management (GCGM) cohort!

The day opened with the official inauguration, lamp lighting, and student pledge, followed by welcome addresses from Mr Nitish Jain – Founder & President, SP Jain Group, and Dr Easwaramoorthy Rangaswamy – Associate Dean (MGB) and Associate Professor.

The focus then shifted to the learning journey ahead, with Dr Firdaus Khan – Deputy Director, GCGM, introducing the programme, followed by sessions on academic resources and the support available to students throughout their time at SP Jain Global.

The day concluded with informal interactions, giving students the opportunity to connect with their peers and begin building a strong learning community.

As our newest cohort takes its first step towards global management, we look forward to seeing them turn fresh perspectives into meaningful impact.

Some milestones deserve a celebration. This one deserves a little ch*****ne, a lot of nostalgia, and a moment to ask, “How did 10 years go by so quickly?”

A decade ago, MGLuxM began with a small cohort and a big ambition: to shape the next generation of leaders for the world of luxury.

Ten years later, the numbers tell only part of the story. The true impact is reflected in the people: the lives touched, careers shaped, ideas carried beyond the classroom, and, most importantly, our alumni, who are now soaring, leading, building, and redefining some of the world’s most exciting brands and industries.

To commemorate this special occasion, SP Jain Global and POLIMI GSoM came together to honour a decade of MGLuxM and the people who have made it what it is today.

From an engaging panel discussion and enchanting performances to an evening of celebration in true grandeur, the occasion was a beautiful tribute to the milestones, memories, people, and moments that have shaped this extraordinary journey.

I stopped looking for the technically right answer. I started looking for the right business decision.

I’m Abhijit Paul. When I started my Executive MBA at SP Jain Global in 2020, I was working in plant quality at a cold rolling mill. My world was specifications, tolerances and process control. Today, I lead business development and commercial functions in renewable energy.

The EMBA changed more than what I knew. It changed how I thought.

As an engineer, I was trained to understand the problem, fix it and trust the numbers. The EMBA taught me to ask different questions: How is a product priced? Why does a customer choose it? What are the trade-offs?

That shift helped me move into product management at Tata Steel, working between the plant and the market. My projects, including a market-entry study for UNIQLO and work on scaling Tata Steelium sales, taught me to challenge assumptions and start with the customer.

My thesis focused on Tata Steelium Super, a brand I helped bring to market. Applying what I learned to something I actually owned showed me the difference between studying a business problem and solving one.

The diverse classroom—with professionals from banking, healthcare, supply chain and technology—also taught me to see the same problem from different perspectives.

I carried that thinking into renewable energy and roles at Jackson Green and Suzlon, and more recently, as BU Head for PPU at Vikram Solar.

My advice to experienced professionals considering an EMBA? Pursue it because you are experienced. Go in ready to have your instincts questioned. That is where the value lies.

The technical grounding still sits under everything I do. The EMBA taught me to use it strategically.

: For Harsha Vardhan Godha, the Master of Global Business (MGB) at SP Jain Global was more than a business degree. It was a journey across countries, cultures and classrooms that helped shape his global career.

With prior experience across operations, supply chain and technology services, Harsha joined the MGB to strengthen his business and strategic skills while gaining an international perspective.

Some of his most memorable learning came through experiential courses such as Prof. Rajiv Asrekar’s Supply Chain Simulation, along with Demand Planning and Lean Supply Chain. These experiences helped him connect classroom concepts with the realities of business operations.

His global learning experiences also took him beyond the classroom, including a visit to Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and cultural workshops on Chinese business etiquette and golf networking. Working with classmates from diverse backgrounds further strengthened his adaptability and cross-cultural understanding.

Today, Harsha has taken that learning into the workplace as a Young Professional at Slimstock Dubai, a global supply chain planning company. As part of the implementation and consulting team, he works on supply chain challenges, planning systems and data-driven solutions for clients.

He credits the MGB’s practical learning, strategic thinking and Professional Readiness Program (PRP) for helping him build the confidence and skills to take this next step.

From multi-country learning to a career in supply chain consulting, Harsha’s journey shows how global exposure can shape a truly global career.

Some milestones deserve a celebration. This one began with a room full of future possibilities! ✨

After a decade of shaping future leaders in luxury, the program marked its 10th year by welcoming the October 2026 cohort into a new chapter.

The immersive orientation brought together a day of ideas, insights and industry perspectives, setting the tone for an exciting year of learning, discovery and possibilities ahead.

At the heart of it was a powerful panel: “Luxury is a Talent Story: Building the Next Gen of Talent Behind the Prestige.”

We were privileged to hear from Deepal Shah (President – Strategy & Special Projects, Raymond Group), Meghna Puthawala (CHRO, Collective Artists Network), Delna Elavia (HR Director – India, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc), and Farzana Adenwalla (Senior Vice President & Head – Talent and Culture, Leo India, Publicis Groupe), with Smita Jain (Program Director – MGLuxM) moderating the conversation.

Together, they explored what it takes to build talent, careers and cultures behind some of the most influential names in luxury.

A new cohort, a new chapter, and a room full of talent ready to write what comes next. ✨
