🥳 For the very first time, a leading Mandarin Chinese textbook from Taiwan has been published in India!!! 🥳

"A Course in Contemporary Chinese: Volume 1" Indian Edition for Mandarin Chinese learners is edited and developed by The Mandarin Training Center of National Taiwan Normal University in Taiwan and is printed and sold by Indian publisher Sanctum Books.

The publication was initiated by the Program Office for Taiwan Education Center in India at National Tsing Hua University (TEC-NTHUPO) which has been granted the copyright from Taiwan "Linking Publishing" and supported by the Taiwan Ministry of Education to fulfill the task of publishing the book in India.

This book will be the assigned textbook at nine Taiwan Education Centers set up in India and will actively make its way into every Chinese Language department at Indian universities. The book will contain the very first Mandarin Chinese learning materials for Indian learners.

Ministry of Education Allows More Categories of Overseas Students to Apply to Enter the Republic of China (Taiwan) from April 1, 2021.

These categories are: Huayu Enrichment Scholarship recipients, Taiwan Huayu BEST Scholarship recipients, students sponsored under a bilateral educational cooperation agreement, and students with special entry permits.
