The Moot Court Association is organizing the Preliminary Round of the Freshers' Moot Court Competition on 17th April, 2021.

We request the support and cooperation of the 2020 graduating batch of students of GLC in judging the Competition as well other Moot Court Competitions in the future.

Chagla Memorial Government Law College National Online Moot Court Competition, 2020. The Final Round of Arguments and Valedictory Function will be presided over by Hon'ble Shri Justice G.S. Patel, Bombay High Court.

The Moot Court Association is pleased to announce that it will be live-streaming the Final Round of Arguments and the Valedictory Function of the competition on YouTube Live. The Final Round of arguments and Valedictory Function of the 4th The Chamber of Tax Consultants National Online Moot Court Competition, 2020 was organised by the Chambers of Tax Consultants in association with the Moot Court Association of Government Law College.

The Final Round was presided over by Hon’ble Shri Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, Bombay High Court & Hon’ble Shri Justice Abhay Ahuja, Bombay High Court.

The Moot Court Association is pleased to announce a webinar session on ‘High Court and Moot Courts: A Discussion on Advocacy’ by Mr. Sharan Jagtiani, Senior Advocate, Bombay High Court.

Mr. Sharan Jagtiani is an alumnus of Government Law College and pursued his LL.M. from Georgetown University. During his time at GLC, he was the General Secretary of the Moot Court Association. While a law student, he represented GLC at several National and International moot court competitions and won many of them. He is a designated Senior Counsel of the Bombay High Court who has worked on several high profile matters in the course of his practice. He is an excellent orator who has also participated in many panel discussions spanning various legal disciplines.

The webinar will be conducted on 30th May, 2020 at 5 p.m. sharp
