The department offers three degree programmes to improve vocational skills of women for employment and self-employment in various sectors. After several years of experience of direct intervention and research, the Master’s programme of Commerce has been developed to fulfill the need for trained man power in the fields of business and commerce, banking, insurance, stock market, teaching as well a

s research. Master of Commerce (M.com.) (This degree is granted by the S.N.D.T. Women’s University as per notification of the UGC under Section 22(c) of the UGC Act, 1956)

Programme features
This Master’s degree is for women with interest in the field of commerce and Management. The M.com programme introduces various approaches to education and development with emphasis on research based education. The department has an active community outreach network of its own and collaborateswith a number of institutions for practical training / field work.
• Course level : Post Graduate Degree (80 Credits)
Duration : Two Years (Four Semesters)
Eligibility : Graduation in Commerce
Student intake : 60(only women candidates will be admitted)
Medium of Instruction : English
