The final chapter of the Student Council 2018-19 ended with the launch of Mumbai Veterinary College's annual magazine BOVET INK 2019. The magazine this year has a theme "Into the Wild" and as the name suggests, it revolves around wildlife. This magazine is the culmination of the hard work and effort of numerous people. Alot of difficulties were faced till the last moment, but we faced them with whatever we had and are very thankful to everyone who helped. Thus, finally, we present our "Swan Song", BOVET INK 2018-19, Issue No. 06, INTO THE WILD🤎💙💚

Yesterday, the students and staff of Mumbai Veterinary College observed a memorial service for Dr. Priyanka Reddy, a fellow veterinarian whose heinous r**e and murder sent shock waves across the entire country, and especially the veterinary community. We have lost one of ours, a person just like us, who must have dreamed of a bright future and a life dedicated to working in this field. The least we want, is justice. Justice for her, justice for all the women out there who are risking their lives walking on this thin rope between life and death, just by wanting to work and live an independent life. We are waiting for it, but the patience is running out now. The question is,how many more priyankas and nirbhayas have to give their lives for authorities to open their eyes?
