Students of CE4K, accompanied by Mrs. Chitra Iyer and Mrs. Sharmin Shaikh, undertook an enlightening site visit to the Bhandup Water Treatment Plant, where they acquired practical knowledge of water treatment processes and sustainable water management practices.

A technical lecture was organized for final-year electrical engineering students focusing on 'Emerging Trends in Electrical Engineering' and 'Energy Conservation and Audit'. The lecture, titled 'Role of Electrical Engineers in Data Centers', featured Mr. Lijo Joy, General Manager (MEP) at Eectromech Infra Projects Limited, as the keynote speaker. Scheduled on 7th March 2026, the event benefitted 35 students and was coordinated by Mrs. Sharmeen Sardar.

A small felicitation program was organized to appreciate the academic toppers from both Aided and Unaided sections yesterday. The students were awarded calculators as a token of recognition for their hard work and dedication. They were also encouraged and motivated to continue striving for excellence in their academic journey. Congratulations to all the achievers! 🌟

मराठी भाषा गौरव दिन -२७/०२/२०२६- चे औचित्य साधून अंजुमन इ इस्लाम च्या मो हा साबू सिद्दीक पॉलिटेक्निक येथे मराठी भाषा दिवस संपन्न झाला.
संस्थेचे प्राचार्य डॉ ए के कुरेशी, संस्थेचे प्राध्यापक, कर्मचारी, विद्यार्थी मोठ्या संखेने उपस्थित होते.
सौ बाविस्कर मॅडम, सौ वर्षा मॅडम, श्री फखरुद्दीन सर व सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांच्या सक्रिय सहभागामुळे सदर कार्यक्रम सुरेख व सुमधुरपणे संपन्न झाला.

*The Department of Electrical & Civil Engineering* Anjuman-I-Islam’s M.H. Saboo Siddik Polytechnic, organized *Institute level* an Expert Lecture on Interview Skills & Group Discussion for (CO,CE,EE,ME) on 26th February 2026 under the Training & Placement Cell and Soft Skills Development Committee.

🔹 Topic: Interview Skills & Group Discussion
🔹 Beneficiaries: Approximately 150 final-year students

The session was delivered by Mr. Ashutosh Sali, MBA, MSW, from the Ministry of Labour & Employment, who shared valuable guidance on interviews, group discussions, and career readiness.

We extend our sincere thanks to all Heads of Departments, the Soft Skills & TPO Committee, and our Principal Dr. A. K. Kureshi for their constant support and encouragement.

On 16th February 2025, an industrial visit to Luminar Lighting Controls, Vasai, was organised for second-year electrical engineering students, where they learned about lighting design, manufacturing, and LED light assembly. Coordinator: Mrs. Sharmeen Sardar; beneficiaries: 50.

On February 14, 2026, third-year electrical engineering students visited Maharashtra's sole HVDC substation, gaining practical knowledge on modern power transmission, safety protocols, and crucial equipment.

A group of 60 first-year Electrical Engineering students visited the Khidmat Charitable Trust's Educational and Welfare Foundation on 11th February 2026, where they toured the facilities and distributed biscuits to patients. Mrs. Jothi Jagaldas organised the visit, accompanied by Mrs. Tehseen Khan, Mrs. Sharmeen Sardar, and Mrs. Mubina Jamadar.

Under the guidance of Ms. Bushra Shaikh (HOD) and faculty coordinators Ms. Fariha Khan and Ms. Mehjabeen Khan, students gained practical exposure to scientific concepts and technological advancements.

M.H. Saboo Siddik Polytechnic's 2nd Year Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning students visited CETTM, MTNL Powai on 24/01/2026. The visit provided practical exposure to telecommunication infrastructure, enhancing technical awareness and connecting classroom learning to real-world applications. 87 students benefited.
