*श्रीमती नाथीबाई दामोदर ठाकरसी महिला विद्यापीठ, मुंबईतर्फे ‘एकात्म मानवदर्शन’ या विषयावर राष्ट्रीय चर्चासत्र संपन्न*

मुंबई, १४ ऑक्टोबर २०२५: श्रीमती नाथीबाई दामोदर ठाकरसी महिला विद्यापीठ, मुंबई यांच्या वतीने पंडित दीनदयाळ उपाध्याय यांच्या ‘एकात्म मानवदर्शन’ हिरक महोत्सव वर्षानिमित्त ‘एकात्म मानवदर्शन’ या महत्त्वपूर्ण विषयावर राष्ट्रीय चर्चासत्राचे यशस्वी आयोजन करण्यात आले.

या चर्चासत्राच्या उद्घाटन सत्रास सुमारे ५०० शिक्षक, शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी, विद्यार्थिनी आणि इतर मान्यवर यांची लक्षणीय उपस्थिती होती. विद्यापीठाचे प्रा. डॉ. निलेश ठाकरे यांनी स्वागतपर भाषणात पंडित दीनदयाळ उपाध्याय यांच्या जीवन कार्याचा व ‘एकात्म मानवदर्शन’ या तत्त्वज्ञानाचा सखोल परिचय करून दिला. त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले की, “एकात्म मानवदर्शन” हे मानवाच्या सर्वांगीण विकासावर, म्हणजेच शारीरिक, मानसिक, सामाजिक आणि आध्यात्मिक उन्नतीवर भर देते. शिक्षण केवळ ज्ञानार्जनापुरते मर्यादित न राहता विद्यार्थ्यांना संवेदनशील, जागरूक आणि समाजाभिमुख बनवण्याचे प्रभावी माध्यम आहे असे मत त्यांनी व्यक्त केले.

श्रीमती नाथीबाई दामोदर ठाकरसी महिला विद्यापीठाच्या कुलगुरू प्रा. डॉ. उज्ज्वला चक्रदेव यांनी आपल्या अध्यक्षीय भाषणातून 'एकात्म मानवदर्शन' या विषयाचे राष्ट्रीय चर्चासत्र एका वेगळ्या उंचीवर नेले.
त्यांनी पंडित दीनदयाळ उपाध्याय यांच्या 'एकात्म मानवदर्शन' या तत्त्वज्ञानाची सांगड 'भारतीयत्व' या संकल्पनेशी घातली.

कुलगुरू महोदयांनी विशेषतः महिला शिक्षण आणि विद्यार्थी वर्गासाठी या तत्त्वज्ञानाचे महत्त्व विषद केले. त्यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांना दैनंदिन जीवनात 'एकात्म मानवदर्शन' कसे कृतीत आणावे यासाठी प्रेरणादायी उदाहरणे दिली.

प्रा. डॉ. चक्रदेव यांनी नमूद केले की, विद्यापीठ म्हणून एसएनडीटी महिलांना केवळ पदवी देत नाही, तर जागरूक, सक्षम आणि सामाजिक बांधिलकी जपणारे नागरिक बनवते. ‘एकात्म मानवदर्शन’ विद्यार्थ्यांना अधिक प्रभावीपणे समाजाच्या विकासात योगदान देण्यास मदत करते, असा विश्वास त्यांनी व्यक्त केला.

कार्यक्रमाचे मुख्य अतिथी मा. श्री. मंगल प्रभात लोढा यांनी आपल्या मार्गदर्शनपर भाषणात पंडित दीनदयाळ यांच्या विचारांची विद्यार्थी आणि शिक्षण क्षेत्रासाठी असलेली प्रासंगिकता विशद केली. त्यांनी नमूद केले की, शिक्षणामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये नैतिक मूल्ये, सहानुभूती, समाजसेवा आणि उदारमतवाद यांसारख्या गुणांची जोपासना होणे आवश्यक आहे. ‘अंत्योदय’, मानवी मूल्ये आणि समग्र विकास यावर आधारित असलेले हे तत्त्वज्ञान आजच्या सामाजिक संदर्भात अधिक महत्त्वाचे आहे.

याप्रसंगी श्री. प्रफुल्ल केतकर यांनी ‘एकात्म मानवदर्शन’ या तत्त्वज्ञानाची सामाजिक, शैक्षणिक आणि व्यक्तिमत्त्व विकासातील उपयुक्ता उदाहरणांसह स्पष्ट केली. या तत्त्वज्ञानाच्या आधाराने शिक्षक, मार्गदर्शक आणि विद्यार्थी यांच्यातील संवाद अधिक प्रभावी होतो, तसेच शिक्षण प्रणाली समाजाभिमुख आणि सर्वसमावेशक बनते, असे त्यांनी प्रतिपादन केले.

दुपारच्या सत्रात Ph.D. मार्गदर्शक, शिक्षक आणि राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (NSS) समन्वयक यांच्यासाठी विशेष कार्यशाळा आयोजित करण्यात आली होती. या प्रशिक्षण कार्यशाळेत प्रत्येक गटात ५० शिक्षक, अशा एकूण १०० शिक्षकांनी सहभाग घेऊन मार्गदर्शन घेतले. श्री. आनंद मापुसकर, डॉ. वरदराज बापट आणि श्री. प्रमोद क्षीरसागर यांसारख्या तज्ज्ञांनी प्रशिक्षक म्हणून या कार्यशाळेचे संचालन केले.

चर्चगेट, मुंबई येथील पाटकर हॉल येथे आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या या सत्राचा मुख्य उद्देश पंडित दीनदयाळ उपाध्याय यांच्या तत्त्वज्ञानाची व्यावहारिक उपयुक्तता विद्यार्थी आणि शिक्षकांना समजावून सांगणे हा होता.

Hearty congratulations to Principal Dr Aditi Sawant madam, staff and students of S.N.D.T. College of Arts & S.C.B College of Commerce & Science for Women, Churchgate for winning the overall championship trophy of SNDTWU Yuva Mahotsava in the grand finale conducted by the Department of Students' Development ( DSD), SNDTWU on 4-5 October 2025.

The competition saw participation of nearly 3000 students from colleges of SNDTWU all over Maharashtra and beyond and had winners from 3 regional rounds - Mumbai & Gujarat, West Maharashtra and North Maharashtra which included affiliated and conducted colleges and institutes from various regions

The college won gold medals in several individual and group events - Quiz, Marathi Poetry, Mime, Gujarati essay, Rangoli, clay modelling instrumental music, classical music events and silver and bronze medals in several of the 26 categories of events.

The college was also a proud winner of the overall championship trophy in fine arts events.

The valedictory ceremony was graced by Hon Vice Chancellor Prof. Ujwala Chakradeo, SNDTWU and the renowned voice-over artist ( of Shinchan fame) Ms. Parul Bhatnagar. Students were thrilled to receive trophies and accolades from these illustrious personalities.
