SVIMS is located in the business capital of the key emerging economies and would like to exploit the potential for management learning that the region offers. We are constantly in the look out for collaborations from business houses and educational institutions to gain from collaborative efforts. Some of the plans that we are actively pursuing include: International Exchange Program: to learn from
multi cultural business environment to succeed in the global economy. International MBA: to recruit full time overseas students to learn from the fast changing Indian business environment and its impact on the global economy. Management of Public Enterprises: to learn from and educate public administrative bodies in effective management of resources for the benefit of all stakeholders. National Kannada Education Society (NKES), a 75 plus year old educational Institution started Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Management studies and research (SVIMS) which offers a 2 year full time AICTE approved, MMS program affiliated to Mumbai University. Srikrishna and include Jaithirth (Jerry) Rao, Ms Kamala, Vice President, NSE of India, Mr. Madhusudhan Mandyan, CEO, Virgin Mobile India, Mr. Ravi Malani, Director, Barclays Wealth India, Mr. Jairaj Hegde, CEO, Sheryl Williams I P Ltd, and other senior academicians from IIT, VJTI, UCT etc to provide a stimulating ecosystem for guidance and support. The SVIMS campus at Wadala West, in the heart of Mumbai city, has a state of art, corporate styled Infrastructure. Armed with a Wi-Fi campus and a well equipped library that includes latest national and international journals, it also has E-learning support from EBSCO, CRISIL database of industries, Market Value Xenius database etc to supplement information to students beyond the curriculum as prescribed by University of Mumbai.
