MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) is pleased to share that Dr. Bandoo Chatale, Assistant Professor, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree), served as the Guest Speaker for the seminar on “Empowering Research: Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Scientific Writing Excellence,” organized by VIVA Institute of Pharmacy on 4th November 2025.

The seminar emphasized the growing importance of artificial intelligence in scientific research and academic writing. We are thrilled to share that the team Cureon, comprising of students Mr. Kashayap Joshi (Team Leader), Ms. Vaishnavi Ambekar, Mr. Rahul Bhangade, Ms. Anchita Kambli, Ms. Prachi Pedekar, and Ms. Shraddha Vaje, have been shortlisted for the Grand Finale of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 — along with their mentors Mr. Shailesh B. Sargade and Mr. Manas Jadhav a prestigious nationwide initiative led by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and AICTE.

The MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) organized an enlightening session titled “Know Thy Mindset” as part of the Mental Health Month celebrations on Monday, 13th October 2025. The session was conducted under the aegis of IQAC and the Mental Health Club – Mind over Matter, in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club of Bombay, Kandivali and Shakti Foundation. The speaker, Mrs. Shilpa Govekar, Founder of Remanaa, shared her expertise in Tarot, Mindset Coaching, and Crystal Healing, inspiring participants to reconnect with their inner strength.

The insightful session aimed to promote self-awareness, emotional balance, and mental well-being among educators. Through interactive discussions and reflective exercises, participants explored ways to recognize stress triggers, develop resilience, and cultivate a positive mindset. Mrs. Govekar’s practical strategies for mindful communication and self-compassion offered valuable takeaways for both personal and professional growth.

MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) achieved a significant milestone by marking its first-ever participation in the Annual Youth Festival organised by Mumbai University, hosted at L. S. Raheja College from 2nd August to 26th September 2025.

Students from the institute actively took part in a diverse range of competitions, including Rangoli, English Debate, Elocution, and Collage Making on 5th August 2025, followed by the Quiz Competition on 23rd August 2025. Each event served as a platform to showcase their creativity, intellect, confidence, and teamwork while fostering a spirit of healthy competition.

Participation in this prestigious university-level event offered the students valuable exposure to a vibrant cultural and academic environment, helping them expand their horizons beyond classroom learning. The enthusiasm and dedication demonstrated by the participants reflected the institute’s commitment to holistic student development and excellence in every sphere.

The MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) organized an Industrial Visit on 4th October 2025 to ACG Capsules, Dahanu and Custom Capsules Pvt. Ltd., Boisar for the Final Year, B. Pharm 2022–26 students. The visit was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sindhu Menon, Assistant Professor and Ms. Priyanka Joshi Jain, Assistant Professor, MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree).

The day commenced with a tree plantation activity at ACG Capsules, symbolizing a commitment to sustainability. Students then gained valuable exposure to the manufacturing process of empty hard gelatin capsules, along with insights into packaging procedures and defect identification techniques.

At Custom Capsules Pvt. Ltd., students explored the production of veterinary capsules and learned about modern capsule filling technologies, enhancing their understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing practices.

MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree) extends heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Shashikant Joag and the entire team at ACG Capsules, as well as the management and staff of Custom Capsules Pvt.
