Feb 2-9, 2026, Dr. Lobsang Tenzin, the Executive Director of the Emory Compassion Center, Tsondue Samphel, the Assistant Director for SEE Learning, and Tenzin Sonam PhD, Assistant Research Scientist for SEE learning, completed a Cognitively-Based Compassion Training (CBCT) workshop for about 100 leaders from Piramal Foundation. The workshop was given in two different cohorts at Drepung Loseling Meditation and Science Center, South India. CBCT is a program developed by Center for Contemplative and Compassion-Based Ethics , Emory University to enhance the innate compassionate nature.

From Jan 30th to Feb -1st-2026, over a period of three days, the Department of Education of the Central Tibetan Administration and Drepung Loseling Meditation and Science Center organized a training program on SEE learning workshop led by the Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion Based Ethics ,executive director prof. Geshe Lobsang Tenzin Negi, supported by Assistant Director of SEE learning Tsondue Samphel, Assistant research scientist for SEE learning PhD Tenzin Sonam, Geshe Tenzin Tselek from IBD Sarah and Tenzin Pema, the director of the office of Education Council (DoE) and the facilatator of SEE Learning. This programme was attended by eighty plus Primarily philosophy teachers from Tibetan school and and educators from various monastery schools.

Wisdom of Emptiness Study Retreat Based on the Special Insight Section of Lama Tsongkhapa’s Lamrim Chenmo held at Meditation and Science Centre, Drepung Loseling Monastery, Mundgod, South India with 237 participants from 26 different countries all over the world.
The retreat was organized by Tibet House, Delhi. Geshe Dorjee Damdul , the director of Tibet House instructed the retreat.

The education visit at the Drepung LOseling Meditation and science center by the 350 students along with 14 es**rt teacher from the Kendriya Vidyalaya School Belgavi, CBSE Affiliated school as a part of PM Shiri Science activity and the 50 students from 11 different school of leh ladakh visited on 13th of January in 2026

Winter Retreat Program

From December 25, 2025, to January 2, 2026, a winter retreat program was organized at Drepung Loseling Meditation and Science Center for a group of visitors who came from the Drepung Loseling Center in Mexico.
During the week long meditation teachings and empowerment transmissions, Chief Drepung abbot ( Drepung Tritsap) Togden Rinpoche, Geshe Yeshe Lhundrub, venerable abbot of Loseling monastery, Geshe Lobsang Tenpa, Geshe Lobsang Gyatso, Geshe Dakpa Jegmey, Geshe Jampa Gelek, Geshe Dawa Tsering and Geshe Ngawang Kalsang gave initiations and taught about meditation. The participants had the opportunity to visit monasteries such as Gaden and Drepung monastries as well as Jangchup Choeling nunnery. They also toured the kitchen, and settlement area.
