about 15 kms away from Idukki en route to Thopramkudy, in Vathikudy
Panchayath, Udumbanchola Taluk, Idukki District and it is affiliated
to Mahatma Gandhi U

niversity, Kottayam . It was established in 1982
by His Excellency Rt. Dr. George Punnakottil, the Bishop of
Kothamangalam, taking into consideration the dire need of an
institution imparting higher education to the youth of the highranges,
especially that of the Catholic community . The college was raised to
the First Grade by introducing B.Com. Course in Sept. 1991. Commencement of the Post Graduate Course in M.Com. in 1995
was a landmark in its history.
