Runner-Up at Finance Fiesta.

Samhitha P Bhat and Nisarga R of the Department of Commerce, MMK & SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya, secured the Runner-Up position at Finance Fiesta an intercollegiate fest organised by GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for women on 8th October 2026.

The competition featured three rounds covering portfolio construction, finance quiz and CFO: Financial decision making. The team was awarded a certificate and cash prize in recognition of their performance.

The achievement reflects their teamwork, knowledge and active participation in the event.

Empowering Young Minds, building brighter future
An exciting two day skill development workshop was conducted for all first year students, the sessions included topics pertaining to and not limited communication, listening skills and leadership development were discussed throughout and many activities were conducted to students to ensure they get a fair amount of understanding on each of these subjects which helped them to develop, achieve and build leadership qualities that helps them to enhance their ability to manage stress, time and energy.
