🇮🇳 80th Independence Day Celebration at DPCN 🇮🇳
Maganbhai Adenwala Mahagujarat University proudly celebrated the 80th Independence Day at Dinsha Patel College of Nursing (DPCN), Nadiad.

The celebration reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity, and pride in our nation. Faculty members and students came together to commemorate the historic occasion and pay tribute to the great freedom fighters who dedicated their lives to the nation.

On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week, the 7th Semester B.Sc. Nursing students organized an exhibition on "Breastfeeding" at Dr. N. D. Desai Hospital, Nadiad.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Binni Christian (Nursing Superintendent), Dr. Chintan Upadhyay (HOD of OBG deparment), Dr. Priyanka Purohit (Professor & HOD of Unit), Dr. Shirish Choksi (HOD of Unit), and Dr. Grishma with a warm chocolate welcome followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The students presented informative exhibits covering various aspects of breastfeeding, including the what is breastfeeding, WHO recommendations, composition of breast milk, benefits of breastfeeding, types of breast milk, breastfeeding positions, correct latching and burping techniques, exclusive breastfeeding, expressed breast milk for working mothers, signs of effective breastfeeding, common breastfeeding complications and their management, the human milk bank, and common myths and facts about breastfeeding.

The exhibition was successfully conducted and was highly appreciated by the dignitaries and visitors.

The First Year GNM students of Dinsha Patel College of Nursing, Nadiad organized a Community Health Awareness Exhibition at Primary Health Centre (PHC), Chaklasi to educate the community about the prevention and control of common communicable diseases.
The exhibition featured informative displays and health education on the following topics:

Cholera
Dengue
Chandipura Virus
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Satyam Bhavsar, Medical Officer, PHC Chaklasi, who appreciated the students' efforts in promoting public health awareness and encouraged them to continue serving the community through health education initiatives
