Date (04/05/2026), the TY GNM and FY ANM students of Dinsha Patel College of Nursing visited Mahipatsinh Foundation along with their faculty members.

On this meaningful occasion, a memento and shawl were presented to Shri Mahipatsinh Chauhan as a token of respect and appreciation for his remarkable contribution to society and his dedicated service towards the elderly. 💐

The students spent heartfelt moments with the residents, sharing care, compassion, and joy. They also conducted Hemoglobin (Hb) screening and distributed Iron and Folic Acid tablets to support the health and well-being of the elderly residents.

The visit was truly enriching and helped foster empathy, humanity, and social responsibility among the students. ❤️

🩺 Hemoglobin Screening Summary:
• Total individuals screened: 198
• Individuals with low Hemoglobin (below 11 gm/dL): 84

💊 Intervention Provided:
All 84 individuals identified with low Hb levels were provided Iron and Folic Acid tablets for a 2-month course to help improve their hemoglobin status.

On the occasion of International Nurses Day – 12 May 2026, Dinsha Patel College of Nursing proudly celebrated the dedication, compassion, and selfless service of our nursing heroes. 💙

More than 45 staff nurses from various hospitals across Kheda and Anand districts were honored and felicitated with mementos and certificates as a token of appreciation for their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment toward patient care. 🙌💐

These nurses, who work silently yet significantly behind the scenes, were brought into the spotlight and recognized for their invaluable contribution to the healthcare system and society.

On the occasion of World Red Cross Day, the Indian Red Cross Society organized a Health Check-up Camp at Vaso Branch in collaboration with Dinsha Patel College of Nursing, Nadiad.

A total of 12 TY GNM students and 3 faculty members from DPCN actively participated in the camp.

The health screening services included:

* BMI assessment
* Blood pressure measurement
* Random Blood Sugar (RBS) testing
* Anemia screening
* Distribution of iron and folic acid medication for participants with low hemoglobin levels.
