🔬✨ National Science Day Celebration at BGS Panchajanya Campus ✨🔬

BGS Model Public School, BGS College of Education and BGS PU College, jointly celebrated National Science Day with great enthusiasm and scientific spirit. The day commemorates the discovery of the Raman Effect by the eminent Indian scientist C. V. Raman, inspiring students to cultivate curiosity and innovation.
The programme began with a warm welcome address by K*m. Sinchana of Grade 10, followed by the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony symbolising knowledge and enlightenment.
✨ Highlights of the Celebration ✨
🔹 Sri V. Puttaswamy, Principal of BGS Model Public School, in his address emphasized curiosity, questioning, and scientific thinking. He encouraged students to become lifelong learners inspired by great scientists.
🔹 Smt. Shilpa T. N., Principal of BGS PU College, motivated students to focus on conceptual clarity and genuine understanding rather than rote learning.
🔹 Sri Gopal, B.Ed. Coordinator, highlighted that science is not just for scoring marks but is deeply connected to everyday life and practical application.
🔹 K*m. Varsh*tha, B.Ed. trainee, spoke about Indian women achievers in science and motivated students, especially girls, to pursue scientific careers.
🔹 Master Yashas Gowda B. R., Grade 10, shared his thoughts on the importance of science in building a sustainable and progressive future.
🔹 Smt. Vinutha Srinidhi, Science Teacher, delivered an insightful talk on the Raman Effect, explaining its scientific importance and why National Science Day is celebrated in honour of C. V. Raman.
🎭 A creative science skit by students of Grades 4 and 5 effectively presented scientific concepts in an engaging manner. Various classroom-based science activities further made the celebration interactive and experiential.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by K*m. Rishika of Grade 10. The event was confidently anchored by K*m. Chiranthana.
The celebration was graced by Smt. Shilpa T. N., Sri V. Puttaswamy, Smt. Dr. Shobha, and Sri Gopal, whose presence added dignity and inspiration to the occasion.
The day concluded with the inspiring words of C. V. Raman:
“Ask the right questions, and nature will open the doors to her secrets.”
The programme truly ignited scientific temper, curiosity, and innovation among students.
