The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and Government of Maharashtra, affiliated to RTM Nagpur University. Dynamic leadership of Dr. Bharatbhushan Joshi who is Ex-DRDO scientist having 27 years of experience in R&D, Industry & Academics. The excellent infrastructure, talented & well qualified faculty and student centric approach has made Cummins College of Engineering, Nagpur as the most preferred girls’ college in Nagpur.

Graduation Ceremony organised at CCOEW Nagpur for 2025 pass out batch

MKSSS's Cummins College of Engineering for Women Nagpur had organised Graduation Ceremony for the pass out batch of 2025. Mr. Hemant Chafale, CEO and MD, Trust Fintech Limited, Nagpur was the Chief Guest for the Ceremony. More than 100 students from the Mechanical, Electronics and Telecommunication and Computer Engineering branch were present for the Ceremony.
The Graduation Ceremony was graced by LMC members of the samstha, Mr. Hemant Ambaselkar and Dr. Makrand Karkare. Principal, Dr. Milind Khanapurkar welcomed the alumni and urged them to contribute to the society and samstha and the college in turn. Mr. Hemant Chafale in his Graduation address mentioned about the leading role of women engineers in India's big projects highlighting the multitasking qualities and resilience of women. He congratulated the college for cultivating new era women engineers that would play similar great roles in the upcoming future. Mr. Hemant Ambaselkar and Dr. Makrand Karkare wished them good luck for their future endeavours.
The college has legacy of appreciating meritorious bright students every year. This year (2025) 8 students of pass out batch appeared in merit list of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur. With the generous funding sponsorship of Cummins India Limited (CIL), the merit holders were felicitated with handsome cash prizes of up to 53000/-.
Parents of the graduated students as well as topper students were also invited for the ceremony. Graduated students gave the feedback about their wonderful journey at Cummins and how it is helping them further in their careers/profile as well. Parents and invited graduates along with all the employees of the college enjoyed the dinner followed by the program.
The overall event was coordinated by Prof. Pallavi Ganorkar, Prof. Abhilasha Borkar and Prof. Sushil Lanjewar.

Glimpses of Book Fair 2026

The Book Fair organized at Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur was successfully conducted on 23rd April 2026, bringing together book lovers for a day filled with knowledge and exploration.

With the theme “Go All In – If you're into it, read into it”, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who explored a wide range of non-technical books and made the most of the special offers.

The fair created a vibrant reading atmosphere, encouraging students to develop reading habits, discover new ideas, and connect with the world beyond textbooks.

☁️✨ CLOUDVERSE: From Local Code to Live URL

The session “CLOUDVERSE: From Local Code to Live URL” was successfully organized by the SWE (Society of Women Engineers), CCOEW Nagpur Student Chapter.

The session was highly insightful and engaging, providing students with a clear and practical understanding of modern cloud technologies and their real-world applications.

Ms. Jyoti Notani, a member of the managerial team at Persistent, introduced the AWS Community and AWS Nagpur Community, highlighting their impact and the opportunities they offer for students to learn, connect, and grow.

Mr. Aishwary Gathe, a mentee at Persistent, explained the fundamentals of cloud computing in a structured and easy-to-understand manner. He covered key concepts, types, and major platforms, along with valuable insights into AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

The session also included an interactive quiz, making the experience both informative and engaging for the participants.

🤖✨ Robo Making Workshop – Hands-on Innovation!

The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering successfully conducted a Robo Making Workshop under the Technoformer Club, in association with SWE, in preparation for the upcoming Robo Race Competition.

During the workshop, participants were guided on designing and building their own robots from scratch. They gained hands-on experience with essential components, circuit connections, and control mechanisms required to develop a functional racing robot.

The session was highly interactive and enriching, helping students build practical knowledge and confidence to compete with their self-built robots in the upcoming event.

Special appreciation to Bavaskar Sir for conducting an excellent workshop, along with Ms. Sayali Halde for her seamless coordination.

Such initiatives continue to foster innovation, creativity, and experiential learning among students. 🚀
