Flagged & Tagged, an exciting offline CTF event, was successfully organized by the Cyber Guardian Club at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur on 10th April 2026.

Participants enthusiastically tackled two thrilling levels—⚔️ Warfare (team-based flag battles) and 🔍 Mystery Hunt (clue-driven campus challenge). The event pushed students to apply real-world cybersecurity concepts while enhancing their strategy, teamwork, and analytical thinking skills.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Firdous Sadaf (Faculty Coordinator), with excellent coordination by Ms. Shruti Bawankar (Student Coordinator).

At Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur, the Entrepreneurship Development Cell hosted an engaging and insightful session on “Business Model Canvas (BMC) & Business Model Fit” on 13th April 2026, in collaboration with IIC.

It was a privilege to have startup founders Mr. Varun Mundhada (KarpKala) and Mr. Atharva Meharkure (Mocktailors) as the speakers for the session. Both dynamic entrepreneurs shared their real-world startup journeys and practical experiences, offering valuable insights into building and validating business models.

The session was delivered interactively by the speakers, who explained the Business Model Canvas using examples from their own ventures. They highlighted how each component of the BMC plays a crucial role in shaping a startup and emphasized the importance of achieving Business Model Fit through continuous iteration and learning.

The discussion helped students understand that successful startups are built through strategic thinking, adaptability, and real-world validation, while also exposing them to the challenges and trade-offs faced by founders.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur successfully conducted an engaging and insightful session on Business Plan and Technical Mentoring under the theme “Connect, Create and Innovate – An IoT Journey”.

The session was delivered by Dr. Giridhar Urkudhe, who provided valuable insights into the strategic development of a business plan—from idea generation to product launch—along with the implementation of business models through interactive IoT systems.
