Financial Literacy Programme Successfully Conducted
Amar Sewa Mandal’s Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur organized a Financial Literacy Programme – Investor Awareness Programme (IAP) with the objective of creating awareness among students about financial planning, saving, investment and the financial markets.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Ms. Mili Paul, SEBI Smart Trainer and SEBI-empanelled Resource Person, as part of the Investor Awareness Programme initiative of SEBI. Students from the First and Second Year of the Commerce stream, along with students from other disciplines, actively participated in the programme.

During the session, students were introduced to key aspects of financial planning, budgeting, saving and investment, capital markets, mutual funds and depository services. The session also focused on developing responsible investment practices and helping students make informed financial decisions in an increasingly dynamic financial environment.

The programme received valuable encouragement and support from Hon’ble Dr. Suhasini Wanjari, President, Amar Sewa Mandal; Hon’ble MLC Adv. Abhijit Wanjari, Secretary, Amar Sewa Mandal; and Hon’ble Dr. Smita Wanjari, Treasurer, Amar Sewa Mandal.

The successful organization of the programme was further supported by Dr. Dilip Badwaik, Principal, Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur, and Prof. Ninad Kashikar, Vice-Principal, Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur.

Initiatives such as these reflect the institution’s commitment to holistic student development by equipping learners not only with academic knowledge but also with practical financial awareness and responsible decision-making skills essential for life beyond the classroom.

अमर सेवा मंडळ द्वारा संचालित कमला नेहरू महाविद्यालय, नागपूर येथे दरवर्षीप्रमाणे यंदाही ८० वा स्वातंत्र्यदिन उत्साह, देशभक्ती आणि अभिमानाच्या वातावरणात साजरा करण्यात आला.
या कार्यक्रमाला अमर सेवा मंडळाच्या अध्यक्षा डॉ. सुहासिनी वंजारी मॅडम, पदवीधर मतदारसंघाचे माननीय आमदार तथा अमर सेवा मंडळाचे सचिव ॲड. अभिजीत वंजारी सर तसेच अमर सेवा मंडळाच्या कोषाध्यक्षा डॉ. स्मिता वंजारी मॅडम महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. दिलीप बडवाई तसेच उपप्राचार्य डॉ.निनाद काशीकर यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती लाभली.
कार्यक्रमाची सुरुवात ध्वजारोहण व विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मानवंदनेने झाली. यानंतर विद्यार्थ्यांनी सादर केलेल्या देशभक्तिपर कार्यक्रमांनी वातावरणात उत्साह निर्माण केला. तसेच संगीत विभागातील विद्यार्थ्यांनी देशभक्तीपर गीतांचे सादरीकरण करून उपस्थितांची मने जिंकली.
स्वातंत्र्यदिनाच्या या विशेष प्रसंगी शैक्षणिक वर्षभर उत्कृष्ट कामगिरी करणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांचा तसेच मागील सत्रात गुणवत्ता यादीत स्थान मिळविणाऱ्या गुणवंत विद्यार्थ्यांचा माननीय ॲड. अभिजीत वंजारी सर यांच्या हस्ते सत्कार करण्यात आला. विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मेहनतीचे आणि गुणवत्तेचे कौतुक करत त्यांना पुढील वाटचालीसाठी शुभेच्छा देण्यात आल्या.
स्वातंत्र्याचा अभिमान, गुणवत्तेचा सन्मान आणि राष्ट्रनिर्मितीचा संकल्प या भावनेने संपन्न झालेला हा स्वातंत्र्यदिनाचा सोहळा विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी प्रेरणादायी ठरला. 🇮🇳
