Mr. Shubham Band has been awarded the Second Prize for his poster presentation (Master’s Category) at the 24th International e-Symposium on Advances in Technology and Business Potential of New Drug Delivery Systems , organized by the Controlled Release Society – Indian Local Chapter (CRS-ILC), held on 27th–28th February 2026.

His research titled “Formulation and Evaluation of Folic Acid Chitosan Conjugated PLGA Nanoparticles for Targeted Delivery of Bosutinib in Breast Cancer”, conducted under the guidance of Dr. Veena Belgamwar Ma’am, exemplifies academic rigour and innovation in targeted oncology therapeutics.

Our respected faculty members Dr. Rajesh Ugale Sir (Deputy Coordinator), Dr. Dadasaheb Kokare Sir, and Dr. Satyendra Prasad Sir (Member of PURSE Research Team) were honored by the university for securing funding under the PURSE (Promotion of University Research and Scientific Excellence) Project.

The Three-Day Workshop on Confluence of Cultural Diversity, Sensitivity & Inclusive Practices in Higher Education was conducted from 16th–18th February 2026, under the sponsorship of the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-UShA), Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The workshop was organized by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), Nagpur, through the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Protection Cell Against Sexual Harassment & Gender Discrimination of Women at Workplace (PCASHGDWW).
