On the occasion of World Health Day, an inter-college essay competition was organized by the Indian Medical Association. The theme of this essay competition was “My Health is My Right”. Maharishi Karve Stree Shikshan Sansthan, Sitabai Nargundkar College of Nursing for Women, B.Sc. Ms. Nutan Alon of the second semester of Nursing got the third prize and a total of 41 students of Nursing College who participated in this essay competition were given certificates. Principal of the college, Dr. Rupa Verma, teaching and non-teaching staff congratulated Ms. Nutan Alon and all the participating students. Indian Medical Association organized “Swaragandhar” function on 06 April 2024 at 05:30 PM at IMA Hall Nagpur, where the dignitaries announced the results of the essay competition and awards were given to the winning students.

On 6th April 2024, The Indian Medical Association organized an inter-collegiate essay competition on the occasion of World Health Day. Ms. Nutan Alone from mksss Sitabai Nargundkar College of Nursing for Women's, Nagpur from the second semester of B.Sc. Nursing secured the third position in this competition and a total of 41 students from our college participated in this essay competition. All the students will receive certificates of participation. Congratulations to Ms. Nutan Alone and all the participants.

Maharishi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanmstha, Shivshahi and Niranjan Dhara Foundation in collaboration with internationally renowned flute player Shri. Saurabh Banodha's program was organized. Niranjan Dhara was founded in 1996 by Niranjan Prasad. The organization is actively involved in various fields ranging from culture to education to personality development and training. The current president and leadership of the organization is Smt. This is Urmila Banodha. Shivshahi Foundation and Charitable Trust is an Indian NGO working in the field of education and healthcare for underprivileged people across Maharashtra. The establishment and current president of the organization is Shri. This is Balram Madkar. The program started with lighting of the lamp and Ashram song of the institute. Mister. Saurabh Banodha mesmerized the audience with his flute playing. Members of the Management Committee of Maharishi Karve Stree Shikshan Sansthan along with dignitaries from both the institutions honored the meritorious students of Cummins College of Engineering and Sitabai Nargundkar Nursing Women's College run by Maharishi Karve Stree Shikshan Sansthan by presenting them certificates and medals.
