🦠 Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness through Street Theatre! 💊

Students of Shri Sambhaji College of Pharmacy, Khadkut, Nanded took the message of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) to the community through an engaging Nukkad Natak (Street Play).

Through powerful performances and real-life situations, our students created awareness about the responsible use of antibiotics, the growing challenge of antimicrobial resistance, and the important role pharmacists play in promoting rational use of medicines.

🎭 Learning pharmacy is not just about laboratories and classrooms—it is also about using knowledge to create awareness and make a positive impact on society.

💊 From Spectrum to Equations, and Equations to Quantitative Analysis! 🧪

Our B.Pharmacy students explored the Simultaneous Equation Method to quantitatively determine the concentration of two drugs in a combined sample using UV-Visible Spectrophotometry and Beer–Lambert’s Law.

🔬 Example: Paracetamol + Ibuprofen
📚 Subject: Instrumental Methods of Analysis
🧪 Technique: UV-Visible Spectrophotometry

Through hands-on practical learning, students connected UV absorbance, mathematical equations and pharmaceutical analysis to understand how drug concentrations can be accurately estimated in combined formulations.

This kind of practical exposure helps aspiring B.Pharmacy students develop analytical skills essential for careers in Pharmaceutical Analysis, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Research & Development and the Pharmaceutical Industry.
