The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of SIES (Nerul) College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous), in association with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), organized a seminar on Telecom Rights and Privileges and the Role of RBI in Financial Awareness and Consumer Protection on 16th December 2025.

The session featured Shri Chandra Choodan, Joint Advisor, TRAI (Bengaluru); Shri Brajendra Kumar, Regional Head and Advisor, TRAI (Bengaluru); and Smt. Shilpa Harsh Chheda, Manager, Reserve Bank of India (Mumbai). The speakers shared valuable insights on telecom regulations, consumer rights, financial literacy, and career opportunities within regulatory and financial institutions.

The seminar offered students meaningful exposure to real-world regulatory frameworks, interactive discussions, and clarity on emerging professional pathways, successfully bridging academic learning with industry perspectives.

The Placement Cell of SIESASCN conducted a dedicated OJT partnership interaction 🤝 with industry representatives from Solarica, Admissionshala, Radds Capital, Circle Pro Audio LLP, Impact Sure, and Diversity World Logistics.
During the session, MoUs were also signed to formalise collaborative opportunities for student development and practical training.

This initiative aims to strengthen hands-on learning, industry engagement, and career-ready skill building for our students. 🚀

The Shri Satya Sai Run & Ride Event witnessed an impressive participation of over 3800 individuals 🏃‍♂️🚴‍♀️, bringing together people of all ages for a morning dedicated to fitness, discipline, and community spirit. With multiple running and cycling categories, the event encouraged participants to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle ✨.

Organised by the Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) Committee, the event was conducted smoothly with efficient registration, guided warm-up sessions, hydration points, and the support of dedicated volunteers. It served as a meaningful initiative to promote well-being and strengthen community engagement 🤝.

Our students delivered outstanding performances at the Inter-Collegiate Athletics Tournament organized by the University of Mumbai, held on 7th & 8th November 2025 at Sports Pavilion, Marine Lines.

Proud Moment for SIESASCN! 🎉
The Lions Club of New Bombay, Vashi organized a charity cultural program aimed at promoting cancer care and awareness. The event, titled Navratri, was an intercollegiate dance competition that brought together talented performers from 21 colleges.

We are delighted to share that the Cultural Committee of SIESASCN delivered an outstanding performance and secured the 3rd Prize among all participants. 💃✨

Heartfelt congratulations to our talented students for their dedication and for representing the college with such enthusiasm and grace!

SAMANVAY 2025, an International Conference jointly organised by SIES (Nerul) College of Arts, Science, and Commerce (Autonomous) and Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), was successfully held on September 26–27, 2025, under the theme “Transforming Learning: Synergising Collaboration, Innovation, Consultation, and Research Design.”

The conference featured distinguished keynote speakers and resource persons including:
• Prof. Sriman Kumar Bhattacharyya, Founding Vice Chancellor, Shiv Nadar University
• Mr. Yogesh Sharma, EVP and Head – PSU Channel, Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund

🎓 Pre-Placement Training Session for TY Commerce Students

A Pre-Placement Training Session was conducted by the Placement Cell of SIES (Nerul) College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous) on 14th, 15th, and 16th October 2025 for the Third-Year students of the Commerce stream.

The training aimed to prepare students for upcoming placement opportunities by enhancing their professional and interpersonal skills.
The sessions focused on:
✅ Interview Preparation
✅ Soft Skills Development
✅ Resume Building
✅ Aptitude Training and Assessments

These sessions provided students with valuable insights into effective communication, professional presentation, and analytical problem-solving, helping them build confidence for their future careers.

Hosted by the Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation Cell (EDC), the session featured our esteemed guests:
• Ms. Prajakta Bangale 🌟, Founder of Tales and Tangerines, content creator with over 24K+ Instagram followers, and expert in storytelling, branding, and digital strategy.
• Ms. Palak Mittal 🖋️, Journalist and LinkedIn content creator with over 60K+ followers, specializing in professional networking and digital visibility.

Students explored content creation, freelancing, and personal branding, learning the power of consistency, quality, and leveraging digital platforms. 💡
