On the occasion of Founders’ Day 2026, D Y Patil Deemed to be University, School of Hospitality & Tourism Studies, Navi Mumbai, embraced the spirit of compassion, kindness, and social responsibility through meaningful CSR initiatives. 🌟

👕 Cloth Donation Drive: In collaboration with Bombay Recycling , the initiative aimed to extend a helping hand to those in need by promoting the spirit of sharing and caring.

🍱 Food Distribution Drive: At Jankalyan Sevashram, Panvel, the team came together to share food, spread smiles, and create moments of happiness among the community.

Through these thoughtful initiatives, our students and faculty reaffirmed that true celebration lies not only in achievements but also in giving back to society. Together, we continue to nurture responsible citizens who believe in making a positive difference in the lives of others. 🤝❤️

🇹🇭✨ A Taste of Thailand: Authentic Thai Cuisine Workshop ✨🇹🇭

D Y Patil Deemed to be University, School of Hospitality & Tourism Studies, Navi Mumbai, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Mumbai, successfully hosted an enriching Authentic Thai Cuisine Workshop on 14th October 2026.

The workshop celebrated the rich culinary heritage of Thailand, offering participants a wonderful opportunity to explore authentic Thai flavours, traditional cooking techniques, and the cultural stories behind this vibrant cuisine.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Ms. Siriporn Supanimitwisatkul, Consul-General of Thailand in Mumbai, Mr. Aeyaya Chorot, Ms. Wannapon Wongchong, and Ms. Siriyakorn Notakarn for their valuable presence, expertise, and contribution in making this event a grand success.

The workshop was a memorable blend of culinary learning, cultural exchange, and gastronomic excellence, further strengthening the bond between hospitality education and international culinary traditions.

Bringing Thailand to Our Classrooms!

The School of Hospitality & Tourism Studies,had the privilege of hosting an Authentic Thai Cuisine Workshop in association with the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Mumbai.
The talented chefs from Thailand brought the vibrant flavours, aromas, and culinary traditions of the Land of Smiles right into our classrooms, giving our students an immersive experience of authentic Thai cooking. From exploring traditional ingredients to discovering the art behind Thailand’s celebrated cuisine, the workshop was a wonderful blend of cultural exchange, culinary learning, and gastronomic discovery.

An enriching experience that brought Thailand a little closer to our budding hospitality professionals!
