The Department of Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) successfully conducted a lecture series as a part of the HEI Pre-Summit, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council and CSI. The primary objective of this initiative was to foster integration of Artificial intelligence for innovation, entrepreneurship and knowledge sharing among students.

Second Year students of Computer Engineering department secured 1st place at the Quantum Hacks 2026 hackathon organized by RK Academy Tech Skills.

The hackathon was conducted in 3 levels, with 100+ teams participating overall. Out of these, 40 teams were selected for the final 10-hour offline round held on 11th April 2026, where our students secured the top position.

They were awarded a cash prize of ₹5000 along with a trophy.

We are delighted to announce that *Pravin Sharma and Amit Jadhawar* from TE & BE *CSE (IoT & CSBT)* , along with Saiprem from FCRIT, secured the *1st Runner-Up* position in the 24-hour National Level Hackathon “AGNELS TECH MANIA” under the Hardware Category, held on 11–12 April 2026 at FCRIT, Vashi.

Their team, “MECHATROOPS,” was awarded a *cash prize of ₹15,000* for their outstanding performance.

We are proud to share that Team Areion from the CSE (AI & ML) department has secured 2nd place in the Web3 Track at the national-level hackathon HackOverflow 4.0, held on 13th March 2026 at Pillai HOC College of Engineering.

The competition witnessed participation from 65+ teams and over 250 participants from across the country.
