🇮🇳 Independence Day 🇮🇳 Celebration 2026

Tilak International School and Junior College, Ghansoli, celebrated India’s Independence Day 🇮🇳 with great enthusiasm, pride, and patriotic spirit. The celebration brought together students, teachers, and distinguished guests to honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and celebrate the spirit of a free and united India.

The programme began with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest and dignitaries, followed by the flag hoisting ceremony. As the Tricolour 🇮🇳 soared proudly, the atmosphere was filled with patriotism and pride. The students and staff then joined in the National Anthem, paying tribute to our nation.

The celebration continued with a prayer song, a disciplined and energetic march past, and a felicitation ceremony for the Chief Guest and dignitaries. Students delivered inspiring speeches in Hindi, English, and Marathi, highlighting the importance of freedom, unity, responsibility, and love for our motherland.

The cultural programme added colour and energy to the celebration with patriotic songs and vibrant dance performances presented by the students. The Chief Guest then addressed the gathering with an inspiring message, encouraging students to become responsible citizens and contribute positively towards the progress of our nation.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, management, teachers, staff, parents, and students for making the celebration memorable.

🇮🇳 Pre-Independence Day Celebration 2026 🇮🇳

Tilak International School, Ghansoli celebrated the Pre-Independence Day Celebration on 14th August 2026 with immense patriotic spirit, enthusiasm, and pride. 🇮🇳

The programme commenced with a warm Introduction, followed by the Morning Prayer and Pledge. Students were then reminded of the significance of Independence Day and the sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters through an inspiring session on the Importance of Independence Day.

The celebration continued with a vibrant array of performances:

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, followed by the soulful rendition of “Vande Mataram”, which filled the atmosphere with a deep sense of patriotism and national pride. 🇮🇳

*Anti-Drug Awareness Seminar*

*Under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan – Campus Connect* an Anti-Drug Awareness Seminar was conducted for the students of Std. XI at Tilak Junior College of Science and Commerce, Ghansoli. *Mr. Tushar Todamal, Sub-Inspector* addressed the students and created awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse. The session encouraged students to make responsible choices, stay away from substance abuse and contribute towards building a *Drug-Free India*. The programme was conducted in collaboration with Koparkhairane Police Station, Navi Mumbai.

Fancy Dress Competition – National Leaders

The Fancy Dress Competition with the theme “National Leaders” was organised for our preschool students with great enthusiasm and excitement. The little ones dressed up as inspiring national leaders and confidently portrayed their chosen personalities.
The children looked adorable in their colourful and creative costumes. They introduced themselves and shared a few simple lines about the leaders they represented. The activity helped the children learn about the important personalities who contributed to our nation while developing their confidence, communication skills, and stage presence.
It was a joyful and educational experience for our young learners. The proud smiles, enthusiastic performances, and vibrant costumes made the event a memorable one for everyone.
The competition beautifully reminded us that today’s little learners are tomorrow’s responsible citizens.

🌼🌞 Yellow Day Activity 🌼🌞
Yellow Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement in our preschool. The activity was planned to help children recognize and identify the colour yellow in a fun and engaging way.
The little ones came dressed in bright yellow outfits and enjoyed exploring various yellow-coloured objects such as bananas, lemons, flowers, toys, and other classroom materials. Fun activities like colouring, craft, and object identification made the learning experience enjoyable and interactive.
The children happily participated in the activities and learned about the colour yellow while developing their observation, creativity, and vocabulary skills. The day was filled with smiles, learning, and lots of sunshine-yellow cheer! 🌼🌞💛
