Workshop on Classroom Management & Student Well-Being | 27th & 28th April 2026
The teaching staff of Tilak Global School attended an enriching two-day workshop focused on building better classrooms and happier students.
Day 1 – 27th April
Ms. Vidya Remesh, Assistant Professor, Sarda Kurup College
Ms. Vidya guided us through practical strategies, real-life examples, and interactive activities to strengthen our classroom management skills. The session was engaging and full of takeaways that we can apply right away.
Day 2 – 28th April
Ms Chitra Nair, Assistant Professor, Sarda Kurup College
Ms Chitra spoke about student well-being—being healthy in mind, body, and heart. She reminded us that when students feel safe, supported, and valued, they perform their best in school and in life.
A big thank you to both speakers for their insights and inspiration. We are grateful for the learning experience!

Mother's day celebration at Tilak Global School
( Pre-Primary Section).
A beautiful and heartwarming Mother’s Day celebration was organized in our Pre-Primary Section with great joy. Children warmly welcomed their mothers and proudly invited them to join the event. The highlight was the card distribution, where children lovingly presented handmade cards to express their love and gratitude.
It was a memorable day filled with happiness and togetherness. Thank you to all the wonderful mothers for making it so special.

📚 World Book Day Celebration 📚
Books are a gateway to imagination, knowledge, and endless possibilities. On the occasion of World Book Day, our school library proudly organized a variety of engaging activities and competitions to nurture a love for reading among our students.
Our young readers from Grades 1 and 2 enthusiastically read their favourite books aloud, filling the classrooms with joy and confidence.
Students from Grades 3 to 5 participated in a vibrant Show and Tell on Favourite Books competition, sharing their favourite stories and characters with great excitement.
students from Grades 6 to 9 showcased their creativity and critical thinking through a Book Review Writing competition held in the library.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the students for their enthusiastic participation and sincere efforts. We also express our gratitude to the judge for their valuable time, thoughtful evaluation, and encouragement.
The celebration was a wonderful reminder that reading not only enhances knowledge but also sparks imagination and builds confidence. Let us continue to inspire young minds to explore the magical world of books. 📖✨

WORLD EARTH DAY 2026

Earth Day, observed annually on April 22, serves as an important reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and preserve the planet. To mark this occasion, Tilak Global School organized a series of engaging and educational activities aimed at sensitizing students to the importance of conserving natural resources and encouraging them to take an active role in environmental protection.

The school conducted a range of events, including poster-making, slogan writing, essay writing, and presentations on sustainable living, which allowed students to creatively express their understanding of environmental issues. Additionally, a nature walk was organized to help students connect with their surroundings and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world. These initiatives not only fostered awareness but also inspired students to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.

Inauguration Ceremony of Tilak Education Society's Tilak SportsPlex, Ghansoli

The inauguration ceremony of Tilak SportsPlex, Ghansoli was successfully conducted on 7th April 2026 with great enthusiasm and participation. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries featuring Shri Hon.J. N. Kurup Sir, Founder Chairman – Tilak Group of Schools and Colleges, Dr. Ajit Kurup, Director, Tilak Group of Schools and Colleges, Dr. Arun Janardhan, Director, Tilak Group of Schools and Colleges, Dr. Smita Nair ,Trustee – Tilak Group of Schools and Colleges, Dr. Sonia Srinivas, Trustee, Tilak Group of Schools and Colleges, Shri Suresh Pillai, Chief Administrative Officer, Tilak Group of Schools and Colleges, Dr. Nisha Pillai Academic Administrator – Tilak Group of Schools and Colleges, and honoured guests Mr. Chandran ,Construction Engineer and Mr. Abhishek Jain & Team (NextGen Sports).

The ceremony also witnessed the presence of respected academic leaders including Dr. Shraddha Bhome (Principal – J.K. College of Science & Commerce, Autonomous), Dr. Amruta Panda (Principal – S.K. College of Education & Research), Mrs. Parul Mahajan (Principal – Tilak Global School), Mrs. Sheetal Gawade (Principal – Tilak International School & Jr. College), and Mrs. Manisha Panhalkar (Vice Principal – Tilak International School & Jr. College), along with dedicated staff members.

The program commenced with a traditional Puja, invoking blessings for the success and prosperity of the SportsPlex. This was followed by a warm welcome address. The dignitaries were felicitated in recognition of their valuable contributions and presence.

The highlight of the event was the formal inauguration of the SportsPlex, which included ribbon cutting, coconut breaking, and a vibrant balloon release, symbolizing a new beginning in the promotion of sports infrastructure.

A series of sporting activities added excitement to the event. A football match between TIS and TGS teams and a cricket match between TJC and JK teams showcased enthusiasm and sportsmanship. A pickleball demonstration by TGS introduced a modern sport, while a pyramid display by TIS students reflected discipline and coordination.

The event also included a special segment for coach felicitation, acknowledging the dedication of sports mentors.

An inspiring address by Dr. Arun Janardhan emphasized the importance of sports in shaping discipline, leadership, and overall personality development among students.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem.

The inauguration of Tilak SportsPlex marked a significant step towards fostering a strong sporting culture and holistic development among students.

Our school buzzed with creativity during our "Best Out of Waste" activity! From our youngest artists in 1st standard to our innovators in 9th, every student proved that "waste" is just a resource waiting for a good idea.
It was incredible to see old newspapers, plastic bottles, and scrap fabric transformed into stunning pieces of art.

🌾🌾🌼🌼Vishu and Baisakhi Celebrations 🌼🌼🌾🌾
" Culture shines brightest when little once were it with pride" .
Our little star of pre- primary section celebrated the beautiful festival of Vishu and Baisakhi with great joy and excitement. Our star came dressed in traditional attire and learned about the importance of vishu and Baisakhi though fun activities.
It was a wonderful day filled with culture , learning and laughter.

Special Morning Assembly at Tilak Global School
A special morning assembly was conducted at Tilak Global School to pay tribute to the visionary leader, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, also known as Ambedkar Jayanti.

The assembly serves as a platform for our students to showcase their talents, foster leadership skills, and build character, all while acknowledging the contributions of the silent workers in our midst.

Led by the students, the assembly commenced with a serene morning prayer, followed by the thought of the day, the pledge, and the news reading.

Our students delivered inspiring speeches on the pivotal role Dr. Ambedkar played in formulating the Constitution of our country and its significance to Indian democracy.

A short skit, performed with passion and conviction, highlighted Dr. Ambedkar's lasting impact and his instrumental role in shaping India's journey as the world's largest democracy post-independence.

The assembly served as a powerful reminder of Dr. Ambedkar's ideals and principles, inspiring us all to uphold the values of equality, justice, and democracy in our lives.
