Shaping Leaders. Inspiring Change.

Our students proudly represented D Y Patil International School, Navi Mumbai at Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) India 2026, held in Bengaluru from 13th–16th August.

Representing the High School section, Aadhya Menon (Grade 9B), Mysha Saajeel (Grade 9B), Ahaana Nair (Grade 10A), and Sanjam Kaur Saini (Grade 11B) engaged in thought-provoking debates on pressing international issues, showcasing diplomacy, critical thinking, confidence, and leadership.

Congratulations to Ahaana Nair and Sanjam Kaur Saini on receiving the prestigious Diplomatic Commendation Award for their outstanding performance and valuable contributions.

On Thursday, 20th August 2026, the HMCT Auditorium at D Y Patil University came alive with pride, celebration and inspiration as D Y Patil International School, Navi Mumbai hosted its Felicitation and 16th Investiture Ceremony.
The morning began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and a soulful rendition of “You Make Everything Beautiful”, setting the tone for a truly memorable occasion.

Our Chief Guest, Honourable Pro-Chancellor and Vice-President, Dr. Shivani Vijay Patil Ma'am, along with our Principal, Ms. Shan Liz Sanju, felicitated the IGCSE, A Level and IBDP toppers of the 2025–26 batch, recognising their dedication, perseverance and commitment to excellence.

The celebration then transitioned into the 16th Investiture Ceremony, as our newly appointed Student Council marched into the auditorium. With their sashes and badges presented by Honourable Dr. Shivani Patil Ma'am and Shan Ma'am, the young leaders formally embraced their responsibilities. The solemn oath-taking ceremony reaffirmed their promise to lead with integrity, responsibility and purpose.

An uplifting rendition of “I Rise” and a special journey video showcasing the students’ rigorous selection process and dedicated preparation added to the spirit of the occasion.

Here’s to our stellar academic achievers and inspiring young leaders—may they continue to learn, lead, excel and inspire!

As a part of our theme ‘All about Me and My Surroundings’ our little learners stepped out on a City Tour to explore their neighbourhood and discover the places around. From the Police Station, Fire Station and Post Office to the Salon, Park and Supermarket, every stop turned into an opportunity to observe, question and learn.

Back in the classroom, the experience continued as children worked collaboratively to create their own neighbourhood maps and presented with pride.

This experience helped children connect real-world experiences with meaningful learning.

D Y Patil International School, Navi Mumbai recently hosted its Annual University & Higher Education Fair, bringing together an impressive 74 premier universities from India and across the globe—including institutions from the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia and India. Students across Grades had the opportunity to engage directly with university representatives, exploring admissions criteria, portfolio requirements, scholarships, courses and campus life. From traditional academic pathways to emerging fields such as AI Ethics, Sustainable Design, and Computational Biology, the event encouraged our learners to explore beyond the conventional and envision possibilities for the future. For our senior students, it was an opportunity to refine university shortlists and application plans, while younger learners gained valuable insights into making informed subject and academic choices.

With 74 institutions under one roof, the event transformed university planning from a complex process into a journey of clarity, confidence, and informed decision-making.

Independence Day: A Celebration of Pride, Patriotism & Possibility

The spirit of Independence soared high as Grades 1 to 5 celebrated Independence Day with infectious enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The vibrant assembly came alive with stirring performances by Grades 2 and 4, whose evocative mime acts traced India’s remarkable journey from its historic struggle for freedom to the visionary dream of a Viksit Bharat.

Adding profound meaning to the celebration, our students paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Padma Shri Dr. D. Y. Patil Sir, expressing gratitude for his visionary contributions to education, healthcare, and nation-building. The seeds he so thoughtfully nurtured continue to inspire us to dream bigger, serve better, and carry his legacy forward.

More than a celebration it was a powerful ode to India’s past, a salute to its present, and a spirited pledge towards its future.
