Vigyaan College of Applied Sciences is a self-financing college affiliated to the University of Kerala and recognized by the Government of Kerala.

The College is situated at the hilltop of Sasthagiri and is near the famous Sastha Temple at Nadukani, Kattakode, Kattakkada, Thiruvananthapuram District. It is two kilometers away from Kattakada and the campus is spread over an area of 15 acres blessed with a serene atmosphere and natural beauty. The College established in August 2012 is run by K.S.Nair foundation and technically collaborated by Our Educational Trust, agencies well-founded and experienced in running educational institutions for many years. The efficient teaching staff is a special feature of the College. The College library has a good collection of books in various disciplines. The College provides transport facility to students from various parts of Thiruvananthapuram City.
