DTU Innovation and Incubation Foundation (DTU IIF), a Section 8 company promoted by Delhi Technological University (DTU), New Delhi, is inviting applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at DTU Main Campus, Rohini, New Delhi.

🎯 Eligibility:

Postgraduate or higher in Management, Science, Engineering, or related fields
Minimum 12+ years of senior leadership experience
At least 5 years leading a profit center with full P&L responsibility
Preferred experience in startup incubation, innovation ecosystems, venture capital, research, or industry collaboration

💼 Role:
Lead DTU-IIF’s strategic vision across innovation, startup incubation, fundraising, CSR, IP commercialization, industry partnerships, and institutional growth while building a high-impact entrepreneurial ecosystem.

A startup incubated with DTU-IIF support, AllSecureX, founded by DTU student Himanshu Vohra, has developed an advanced cybersecurity solution called “Virtual Quantum Vajra kavach.”

Virtual Quantum Vajrakavach is designed to significantly enhance data protection against emerging cyber threats, especially in the era of quantum computing where traditional encryption systems may become vulnerable.

The technology aims to safeguard critical digital communications across sectors such as:
• Defense and national security
• Secure SMS and communication systems
• Enterprise and corporate data networks
• Digital infrastructure and cloud platforms

By integrating virtual quantum security protocols, the system can prevent interception of data during transmission, ensuring next-level protection against sophisticated cyberattacks.

Building Space Startups: U.S. Innovation Best Practices in the Commercial Space Market 🚀

The Delhi Technological University Innovation & Incubation Foundation (DTU-IIF) had the privilege of hosting a distinguished session dedicated to exploring global best practices in commercial space innovation and entrepreneurship.

We were honoured to welcome Eric Stallmer , Executive Vice President for Government Affairs and Public Policy at Voyager Technologies, who delivered a compelling address on the evolution of the U.S. commercial space market. His insights into policy frameworks, public–private collaboration, and scaling deep-tech ventures offered invaluable guidance to DTU students, startups, and faculty members aspiring to build globally competitive space enterprises.

The session commenced with inspiring opening remarks by Prof. Girish Kumar , Dean (R&D), who highlighted the transformative potential of academic–industry partnerships in advancing frontier technologies. The program was gracefully compered by Dr. Deepali Malhotra, followed by an engaging and thought-provoking moderated Q&A session led by Dr. Lovleen Gupta.

We were further privileged by the presence of eminent guests including AVM (Retd.) Pawan Kumar and Prof. K.C. Tiwari, whose perspectives enriched the dialogue on strengthening India’s position within the global space ecosystem.

The session concluded with a sincere vote of thanks delivered by Amit Singh Rathod, CEO, DTU-IIF, reaffirming our shared commitment to fostering international collaboration and nurturing high-impact space startups.

We are delighted to announce that Skitii, an incubated startup under the DST–NIDHI ITBI Scheme, has successfully raised ₹4 crore from a seasoned US-based angel investor, achieving an impressive 150% increase in valuation.

Skitii is pioneering a new category in digital therapeutics through its emotion-adaptive AI music therapy platform. By leveraging real-time emotion sensing, biometric feedback, and generative AI, the platform is delivering meaningful clinical impact, particularly in oncology care.

We are immensely proud to share a remarkable milestone achieved by the DTU innovation ecosystem at the Delhi Startup Yuva Festival.

🏆 Top Achievements:

Two DTU-IIF incubatees — AllsecureX and Heuronics — secured positions among the Top 6, each receiving a prestigious grant of ₹10 Lac from the Hon’ble Chief Minister.

13 startups from the DTU ecosystem were recognized among the Top 100, each awarded ₹1 Lac, including Garg Defence and Aerospace.

We are honoured to share that the Hon’ble Minister of State for Science & Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh, visited Delhi Technological University on 1 January 2026 to review facilities supported by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.
He was accompanied by Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Secretary, DST, along with senior DST officials.

During the visit, the Hon’ble Minister toured the DTU–Innovation and Incubation Foundation (DTU-IIF), including facilities established under DST’s NIDHI–iTBI Programme—fabrication and prototyping labs, co-working spaces, and dedicated hardware startup zones.
Prof. Prateek Sharma, Vice Chancellor, DTU, highlighted that DTU-IIF has facilitated over ₹300 crore in investments and enabled 1,000+ career opportunities, strengthening India’s technology-driven and sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Dr. Singh interacted with innovative startups incubated at DTU-IIF, including Garg Defence and Aerospace, Hueuronics, Dr. Omics Lab, Carbon Crunch, and House Technologies, appreciating their contributions towards self-reliance, sustainability, and national technological priorities.

The visit also included DST-funded FIST facilities at the Department of Applied Physics, where advanced research at the Lithium-Ion Battery Technology Laboratory and Laser & Spectroscopy Laboratory was reviewed and commended.

A special highlight was the award of ₹5 lakh each to three NIDHI–iTBI startups—Dr. Omics Lab, Carbon Crunch, and Garg Defence and Aerospace—reinforcing DST’s commitment to nurturing deep-tech and women-led entrepreneurship.

Honoured to host Dr. Raj Soin, a distinguished alumnus of the 1969 batch of Mechanical Engineering (Delhi College of Engineering, now DTU), at DTU Innovation & Incubation Foundation (DTU-IIF).

During his visit, Dr. Soin engaged with our innovators and startup founders, sharing invaluable insights on global collaboration, innovation, and the future of entrepreneurship. His interest in defence-tech ventures and his encouragement to build scalable, impact-driven solutions deeply inspired our entrepreneurial community.
