Cynosure consists of a series of interesting and engaging competitions that you would love to witness and be a part of. The Department presents: DISQUISITION, a declamation

competition. The instructions are mentioned below:

1. The topic for the declamation is- .

2. The participants must prepare a 3 minutes long sp*ech adhering to the given topic for the competition. 3. The use of references must be mentioned by the

participants. 4. The presentation is an important criterion for judgement.

Participants must keep their videos on while presenting. 5. Decision of the judge will be final and binding. 6. All participants should be present on the day of the event. The results will be announced on the day itself.

The Department of Sociology, Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi, cordially invites you to our Annual Department Fest-CYNOSURE'22!

Cynosure consists of a series of interesting and engaging competitions that you would love to witness and be a part of.

The Department presents: AD-VENTURE, an advertisement making contest. The instructions are mentioned below:

1. Participation as individuals and in pair is allowed.

2. Each individual/team would have to prepare an

advertisement on the theme itself. The advertisement must

include a tagline/jingle.

3. Participants have to design a print advertisement, which can be either hand-drawn, painted or digitally created. Hand-drawn submissions must be scanned and submitted in the form of PDF.

4. Participants will have to present a short summary along

with the advertisement explaining their work to the judges. 5. The entries will be judged on the basis of originality, creativity and how well it adheres to the theme. Plagiarism of any kind will lead to disqualification.

6. Decision of the judge will be final and binding. 7. All participants should be present on the day of the event. The results will be announced on the day itself.

Cynosure consists of a series of interesting and engaging competitions that you would love to witness and be a part of. The Department presents: ENVISION, a Slogan Writing

Competition. The instructions are mentioned below:

1. Only one participation per student will be allowed.

2. All participants must provide a slogan relevant to the theme in no more than 10 words. 3. Slogan can be either in Hindi or English.

4. The entries can be in the form of PDF or MS Word document format. The entries must contain details such as Name of the participant, Name of the course and Name of their respective institution.

5. The entries will be judged on the basis of originality,

creativity and how well it adheres to the theme. Plagiarism

of any kind will lead to disqualification

6. Decision of the judge will be final and binding.

7. All participants should be present on the day of the event. The results will be announced on the day itself.

Q2P is a documentary on humorous study of how gender and class inequalities are revealed through public provision of toilets. The film looks at who has to queue to p*e and how urban design becomes gendered by this social prohibition.
