The Department of Economics at Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi organises various activities throughout the year, ranging from lecture series with eminent speakers to adventure trips for the department and finally one of the hallmark academic festivals of DU, ‘Blisspoint’ (annual international economics festival). Xavier’s Calcutta, St Stephen’s College to name a few we hope to keep t

he honours coming in. Also, we aim at bringing together the people of the department to organise events which in turn teaches the students important soft skills like teamwork, leadership, working under deadlines, management, etc. However, apart from this, we equally focus on sharing our knowledge about anything and everything related to economics as well. The Economics Association of Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University, works towards making its fellow members and students better leaders and economists for tomorrow.
