Started with the cause of spreading technical education in 2008 Government Polytechnic, Nandipet isdedicated for contribution in the field of technological devlopment.Perminently affiliated to the state board of technical education and training Telangana and approved by AICTE, the College has involved itself to train and develop building technicians, under the able leadership of Commissioner of Technical Education(CTE),TS with around 360 students and 25well qualified faculty members.
The college is located at around 25km from Nizamabad, a major city and well connected by bus and other private transpotation facilities.

1.Installtion of Optical fibre cable(OFC) 10Mbps for effective internet connectity under the guidence of CTE, TS under NMEICT scheme, Government of India and BSNL Broand band connectivity.
2.Well established Science Lab,Fuels Lab and IT Lab (with 30computer systems).
3.Digital copier cm scanner for effective implementation of EDEP system during examinations and for other major activities with the support of UPS 3KVA facility supplied by SBTET,TS.
4.Internet facility for HODs of all the departments.
5.Well Established Skill Devlopment center(SDC)which was started during 2013-14 under the guidence of CTE, TS & Chiarman SDC monitoring cell Hyderabad with all facilities such as LCD Projector, latest computer systems 30 Nos., modern furniture, Air conditioners, printer cm scanner with the support of UPS 10 KVA faiclity.
SDC courses offeres at very nominal rates with upto 75% concession for sutdents. No concession for outsiders.
SDC courses offered presently 6 months duration.

& Hyundai motors for mechanical students and BSNL Unique pro Technologies, Solomon Technologies for ECE students.
12. Special Classes held for week students after college working hours 4 PM to 6 PM.
13. Special attentin / Care for conducting slip tests, weekly tests and monlthly tests for betterment of results.
14. B block construction completed Labs and Workshops will be established very shotly.
15. R.O. plant installed for safe drinking water.
16. C.C. Cameras installed for safety purpose and security.
