Meet the faculty behind Life Design Studio, one of three studios within Pearlโs School of Complete Professionals.
Every student arrives with talent. Not every student arrives knowing how to handle pressure, ask for help, or sit with a decision that doesnโt have a clean answer. The role of this faculty is to make sure that gap gets closed alongside the technical training, not after it.
Across organisational psychology, CBT and psychotherapy, student counselling, soft skills and public speaking, DEI and community engagement, and academic leadership, these ten specialists bring emotional intelligence and self-awareness into the everyday rhythm of student life. It is not treated as a wellness add-on, but as part of how a student learns to function under real pressure, in a studio, a pitch room, or a placement interview.
A first-year student learns how to take feedback on a design without taking it personally. A student preparing for placements learns how to walk into a room and actually sound like themselves. A student going through a difficult semester learns there is a real person on campus whose job is to help, not just a form to fill out.
Life Design Studio is embedded as a credit-bearing component within every programme, building the person a student becomes alongside the professional.
