What comes after semiconductors?

According to Aditya Vyas, CEO of QMD Foundation, the answer is quantum technology, a field that could transform the technology landscape just as semiconductors did nearly three decades ago.

Amity University Noida has entered into a partnership with QMD Foundation to advance research and technology development in quantum computing. The collaboration brings together Amity's students and faculty with experts working at the forefront of deep tech and quantum research.

This also builds on Amity's academic focus in emerging technologies, with programmes and learning pathways across Quantum Technology, Physics, Computer Science and Engineering, enabling students to explore areas such as quantum computing, quantum information and next-generation technologies.

As opportunities expand across research, academia and industry, quantum is emerging as an important field for the next generation of technology professionals and researchers.

Mr. Ankit Rajput, a B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering graduate from Amity School of Engineering & Technology (Class of 2014), co-founded in 2016, a B2B Procurement-as-a-Service platform now operating across India, UAE, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and the United States.

From a bootstrapped beginning to serving 200+ brands, including Coca-Cola, Zomato, and TikTok, and facilitating the distribution of 71 million+ units, his entrepreneurial journey reflects what ambition, ex*****on, and an engineering mindset can build when pointed in the right direction.

A step from the classroom into one of India's leading science institutes!

Shrestha Vashistha, an Integrated BTech–MTech Biotechnology student at Amity University Noida, has been selected for a one-year hybrid research internship at the IISc Bangalore, focused on Plasma Technology for Crop Enhancement, research that connects biophysics, seed science and sustainable agriculture.

The internship reflects the kind of research exposure students at Amity Noida go on to pursue at national institutes.

Take a listen as Dr. Devlina Das Pramanik, Assistant Professor, Amity Institute of Biotechnology, shares how her research group is developing hybrid nanomaterials and integrated sensing systems that can detect pollutants like nanoplastics, PFAS and heavy metals in environmental and biological samples, with the goal of better remediation, biomonitoring and risk assessment for public health.

Can early detection change the course of a disease before it even begins?

Dr. Priyanka Jain, Asst. Professor II at the Amity Institute of Molecular Medicine and Stem Cell Research, Amity University Noida, is working to make that possible. Her current work spans two major projects: identifying therapeutic biomarkers linked to liquid-liquid phase separation in breast cancer, and developing deep learning models to detect prognostic markers through RNA interaction analysis.

The goal: earlier prediction, earlier diagnosis, and better outcomes for patients facing both infectious and non-infectious diseases.
