A beautiful experience of creativity, collaboration and togetherness at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Bareilly International University.

As instructed by the Administration, “Ashirwad Ka Diya” was brought to life through a special visual presentation, captured through drone and video filming with enthusiastic participation from our students and faculty.

From preparation to the final frame, the activity became more than just a shoot - it was an opportunity for everyone to create, participate and enjoy together.

Welcoming Mrs. Archana Goyal as Principal & Chair, Faculty of Fine Arts

We are delighted to welcome Mrs. Archana Goyal as Principal & Chair, Faculty of Fine Arts, Bareilly International University, in strategic academic collaboration with IIP Foundation - IIP Academy.

With an illustrious career spanning over 33 years in art education, creative practice, teacher training, curriculum development, and academic leadership, Mrs. Goyal brings a distinguished blend of artistic expertise, industry experience, innovative pedagogy, and visionary leadership.

A Fine Arts graduate in Applied Arts from the College of Art, New Delhi, and a postgraduate in Painting, she has dedicated her professional journey to nurturing creative talent and advancing the standards of visual arts education.

She has served as Head of Faculty - Fine Arts and is a CBSE Resource Person, CCRT Teacher Trainer, Certified IGCSE curriculum Facilitator, International Baccalaureate curriculum (IB) Facilitator, and Certified London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, London (LAMDA) Trainer. Her extensive experience includes leading faculty development programmes, workshops, art residencies, international exchange programmes (China, Italy, London, Dubai, Srilanka, Serbia, Malta) in association with various Embassies in India and national-level art initiatives.

In her new role, she will provide strategic academic leadership to the Faculty of Fine Arts, strengthening curriculum innovation, academic excellence, industry relevance, international exposure, and contemporary creative practices while nurturing the next generation of artists, educators, designers, and creative professionals.

The students of IIP Noida visited the Photoink gallery in New Delhi to view and observe the exhibition of works of master photographer Ahmed Ali. Titled At Work, the exhibition showcased his practice through some important pictures from his 1 lac plus image archive shot between 1948 and 1978. Mr Ahmed Ali began his photographic journey while he was in school and over the years built a body of work that covered the newly independent India, its development as a nation. His pictures not only documented early india, they also showcase his sensibilities as an artist raising the important moot point of what do photographs tell us about the photographers. Photoink has worked on this archive extremely painstakingly, going through Ahmed Ali’s vast archive, selecting negatives, restoring them both digitally and then creating beautiful silver gelatin prints which were showcased in their gallery. A big shoutout to Ms Lalita from Photoink, who became our guide during the visit; she is also a part of the exhibition, adding text to the images. It was a joy to visit Photoink, and watch this exhibition.

Welcoming a Distinguished Voice in Photography & Visual Storytelling

We are delighted to welcome Kiranjit Baruah to the Faculty of Fine Arts, Bareilly International University, as part of the university’s strategic collaboration with IIP Foundation - IIP Academy.

With an impressive 18+ years of professional experience, Kiranjit brings a rich and diverse practice spanning Photojournalism, Travel Documentary Photography, Visual Storytelling, Creative Direction, and Photography Education.

A distinguished alumnus of Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication (SACAC), New Delhi, his artistic journey has been further shaped by the mentorship of eminent photographer Padma Shri Raghu Rai, deepening his understanding of photography as a medium of observation, expression, and storytelling.

His professional journey includes projects with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the Delhi Government, along with creative leadership roles in the corporate and digital sectors.
As a Certified Trainer from the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), Kiranjit has also trained 1,500+ students, bringing a strong emphasis on practical learning, creative perspective, visual language, and photography as a form of communication.

His work has been exhibited at prestigious cultural spaces including Alliance Française de Delhi, Lalit Kala Akademi – Chennai, Ashram Beachside - Puducherry, and Square Circle Gallery - Auroville.

We look forward to his contribution in nurturing the next generation of photographers, visual storytellers, artists, and creative thinkers at the Faculty of Fine Arts.

An Inspiring Interaction with Art, Life & Experience 🎨

The Faculty of Fine Arts, Bareilly International University, was delighted to welcome Sri Sanjay Kumar Shrivastava, prominent Mumbai-based painter and artist, for a special interaction with our students and faculty.

During his visit, Sri Sanjay Kumar Shrivastava explored the ongoing Progress Exhibition, closely appreciating the works and creative development of our students. His interaction went far beyond art—he spoke candidly about the struggles, perseverance and achievements that shape an artist’s journey, while sharing valuable insights on developing one’s individual artistic identity and growing into a meaningful artist.

For our students, it was an opportunity to learn from a practicing artist’s experiences, perspectives and life journey.

Our special thanks to Sri Rajesh Srinet, Editor, Amrit Vichar, whose initiative made this enriching visit possible, and to Dr. Partho Kunar, CEO, Amrit Vichar and Strategic Member of IIP’s Faculty of Fine Arts, for joining and supporting this interaction.

We are pleased to welcome Kartikaya Mohan Nagar to the IIP Academy, Noida.

Kartikaya joins us as a photography educator and visual practitioner with more than a decade of experience across documentary photography, analogue and film processes, visual storytelling, commercial photography and creative direction. His approach is rooted in craft, observation and the discipline of understanding an image before making it.

Formally trained in Creative Photography at the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication, New Delhi, his practice has remained deeply connected with documentary narratives, analogue photography, darkroom processes and human-centred storytelling.

As the founder of Gotama and previously Monksin Happiness LLP, Kartikaya brings extensive professional experience in photography, films, employer and brand storytelling, along with the experience of building and mentoring creative teams.

At the Faculty of Fine Arts, we believe students must learn not only how to operate a camera, but how to observe, question, interpret and tell meaningful stories through images.

The coming together of practitioners, educators and creative thinkers such as Kartikaya strengthens our larger vision of building an institution where traditional photographic craft meets contemporary visual practice, research and industry exposure.

Join us at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Bareilly International University for an engaging Weekend Contemporary Painting Workshop designed for all age groups, beginners, hobbyists and art enthusiasts.

Step away from the routine and spend your weekend exploring colours, forms, textures and your own imagination.

Whether you have never held a brush before, paint occasionally as a hobby, or simply want to discover your creative side - this workshop is for you.

During the workshop, participants will:

• Explore contemporary approaches to painting
• Understand colour, composition, texture and visual expression
• Learn under the guidance of experienced art mentors
• Experiment freely with ideas and techniques
• Discover how emotions, observations and stories can become art
• Experience the joy of creating something completely their own

Open to all age groups. No prior painting experience required.
